Pretty, but....
The room itself was beautiful. Hardwood floors, marble in the bathroom. Roomy and luxurious. The location is convenient to Center City and in a great neighborhood. It is a little off-putting that there is no staff on site, just a phone number to call. The phone staff were helpful, just kind of a pain to have to wait for a service call when you're stuck outside, as the email with the instructions to enter had a placeholder for the actual PIN to get into the building. That number had to be typed in 3 times. Once at the outside door -- understandable. Then 5 feet away at the elevator, and then a 3rd time at the room itself. While it is understandable that the property wants to alleviate the possibility of a lost key card, having to punch in a 6-digit code at 3 locations not 20 feet apart seems a little much. I stayed 5 nights, and at no time was there hot water. I tried three times to take a shower and was not able to accomplish that. Also, housekeeping seems to have never recovered from Covid, as my room was not visited once the entire stay.
