I signed up for a year of starz.they said I didn't and canceled my plan.I got the run arouwith every agent and you cant talk to a supervisor, you can only email them.I was with starz 5 years.Ill never sign up with these scumbags again.Do not trust these people.

With no changes I’ve done at home to my network, this issue was finally resolved and I was connected again after I had sent many emails to STARZ and then filed a complaint with Apple about the app and my issue. About 2 weeks loss of service and much time spent sending emails to STARZ. I’ve cancelled my upcoming renewal because I don’t want to go through this again for a while and clearly STARZ flatly refused to help me out, so I think it was Apple who I subscribe with, that finally intervened. —————————————————————————— Used STARZ as 3rd party app purchased through my Apple Store account and for 9 months it has worked flawlessly. Then on the evening of 5/5/26, all devices became disconnected. STARTZ identified me as out of the USA all of sudden and would not allow me to login any more. STARZ support was useless and said they were blocking me for a suspicious IP address which is the same one used for STARZ for over 9 months on our annual subscription and it works perfectly with our other streaming services including Disney+, Peacock, Amazon PRIME, Apple TV+ and a few others. So basically, if the only way you can connect to STARZ is id’d by them as suspicious (you are not in the USA) and flagged by them, you are out of luck. The reps told me they will not involve in any connection deemed not you as the subscriber. So our remaining 3 months of STARZ left is now out of use. I’ve cancelled the next renewal of course. When all of your other streaming services work fine across all of your devices as well as you access to everything through your ISP (we have 1GB FIOS up/down), and only one subscription account (STARZ) is being blocked from you using, it’s clear that the issue is not with you nor your ISP. Avoid STARZ. If you get into trouble connecting or being able to log in, they are apt not to want to help you resolve the i ssue.

I paid for a subscription for Starz during the Holidays of 2025 when I was watching on my Roku stick. I just recently bought a Amazon Firestick I tried to login on my Firestick it said account reached the limit they want me to pay an extra $5 a month to watch on my new device. I tried to login my Starz account on my phone on May 2nd 2026 to log out of my Roku stick it keeps on saying verifying for like 10 minutes to login their website. Starz is definitely too much of a hassle I don't have any problems with any of my other apps. As soon as I can get in my account I'm definitely canceling.

I subscibed for the year. I never really use it. Today I went on the app started a movie and in the middle of the movie got playback error. I did everythng from clearing cache to reinstalling. How fustratimg is this app. Starz has one job and is bot very good at it. Avoid the frustration.

Its not 5 stars simply because they did not renew The Serpent Queen. Probably my favorite shows and they completely left us hanging by canceling it. Otherwise, I really do enjoy the app. They have a variety of different shows. Personally, I love the several period piece shows they offer

Auto-renew is such an obnoxious, predatory practice. No notice and BAM A $79 charge on my credit card, absolutely unauthorized. I filed a chargebackk but of course I will lose that fight. What a horrible company.

We dropped Starz a while ago, because it seemed like the lineup never changed. With the last season of Outlander, we renewed. Easy, Starz remembered our credentials, took one of the short-term deals. And then… The lineup was on the screen, pressed the picture, and, nothing. No selection worked. Looked for Support on-line. Ah, no phone support. Chat only. OK let’s chat! 20 minutes later, oops, no response and time’s up. You will get an email! Sure, 24 hours later! No help of any kind. A bad joke. Some days it actually works, some days not. IF we make it to the end of Outlander, goodbye Starz…forever!
