first time with hearing aids
Well it helps that my son is a long time Starkey employee/manager for over 20 years. So I have known about Starkey for many years. I am a first time hearing aid wearer and I am impressed with the comfort of my Edge model aids. I am just learning about them and my brain is in the adjustment period but thus far my experience with the aids and the people involved has been very good

New hearing aids. Had no idea how to use them.
The hearing aids were very well explained. Showed me how to use them and care for them. I never was rushed. A. Dry good experience.

I bought a new pair of Starkey edge…
I bought a new pair of Starkey edge hearing aids and I just spoke with customer service and they tell me that I cannot pair my new hearing aids with my TV streaming box. Those boxes are very expensive and you would think that being the same manufacturer they would make it work. I’m not a happy camper and I refuse to buy another one of the boxes that are between 250 and $300 apiece. Do better Starkey.

Hello Tammy - Thank you for providing your feedback. Edge AI hearing aids use a new type of Bluetooth low-energy protocol called Auracast. This new type of wireless connectivity would require the streaming box to have the same type of connection. We're sorry if this wasn't discussed at your appointment. We do have other models of hearing aids if you have an older style Starkey TV streamer that may work better for you, such as our Genesis models. We recommend connecting with your provider to see if an exchange is possible. We apologize for any confusion or inconvenience that this has caused you.
