We are not able to locate an account, that supports the above review, with the information provided. We would like to highlight that our business is guided by two simple principles: 1.) We strive to give our customers the information we’d want if our roles were reversed. 2.) We only publish analysts whose advice and strategies we’d want our own families to read and to follow. We did reach out to the reviewee for additional details and further investigation. We provided direct contact information and did ultimately hear back from the reviewee. Through the discussion it was evident the review is not regarding an experience with Stansberry Research. The reviewee has our company confused with another.

Our intent is never to catch anyone off-guard with a charge. We can confirm that the details were available within the original offer and reiterated in the confirmation emails. We also sent reminder notices for the upcoming renewals on 12/31/22 and 1/4/23. We did speak with Mr. Barnard and, in an effort to maintain its high levels of customer satisfaction, resolved this complaint directly with him on March 14, 2023. We have looked into the associated account and can confirm that the terms were outlined at the time of order, in standard print. Our records indicate that a reminder notice for the auto-renew feature was sent on 1/18/23, and 2/12/23. The notice on 1/18/23 is showing opened the same day. The notice on 2/12/23 is showing opened twice on 2/12/23 and once on 2/13/23. On 2/13/23 we heard from the customer and honored his request to remove the auto-renew feature on the account. The auto-renew feature was removed and the service is set to expire on 2/17/23. We would like to note that all free and promotional content has the option to opt-out within the email itself.
