I am using this service and seems ok for small projects. If you have docker with some big apps installed, you will find it dead slow, even with most highest grade vps. Also, the reviews here at trustpilot or hostadvise or g2 crowd are little fishy and against trustpilot policy. See email below, they offer $25 credit for sharing review. Customers are inclined to give positive review when they see $25 credit. Also they ask us to enter review url in order to get credit. ...... Email part ...... It’s that simple. Trustpilot should have the option for 0 stars. SSDNodes does not deserve even one star. I purchased their performance VPS (KVM / X-LARGE) that has 8 cores and 32Gb ram. At the start, the VPS was okay, but after a month it became extremely slow. I ran the benchmark and found that all scores are very poor (e.g. CPU score: multi-core was ~3500, RAM write: 650 MB/s, RAM read: 1980 MB/s, Disk io: 380MB/s). They claim to have NVMe on performance VPS, but disk io suggests that they are using HDD. Also, they run some cronjob that deletes cache/buffer if RAM usage reaches ~4gb. They just cheat customers by false advertising. Stay away and save money.

Been with them for several years, never really had any problems with them. And service was good, recently decided to go for a 3 year service plan with them, based on past experience and the price, though it was a good deal. It was not a good deal. Suffered from extremely poor service, as others have noted, you do not get what you are promised. Services are severely oversold. Seems like a bait and switch they may have been okay a few years ago, but now its just oversold and you do not get anywhere near the resources that are promised. I tried to cancel within the 14 days of the new service, but they do not allow you to cancel for a refund, only a credit. Why would I want a credit if the service they are going to provide is nowhere near what they can deliver? It's a bait and switch, avoid at all costs.

EDIT 2: They left us a bad review to try to force our hand further or for revenge. This is insane. They don't deserve your money. --- EDIT: They tried to blackmail me saying they would refund the charge if I remove the review. When I ask them to take care of it they said they can't unless I remove the review. Wow, just wow - add blackmail to the services list. --- There are 2 huge problems with SSDNodes . Since starting to use the service, they have imposed rules which make it clear that we don't actually own what we pay for and we can't host whatever we'd like because they will block you if you host a service that they don't like - arbitrary rules make me even feel like we're being spied on. Next up - the customer support. They try to squeeze every single cent out of you as a customer and if you decide that a service is not a good fit, they refuse (or as a support person said "they stand by their policies") to pro-rate the amount - I even offered to pay 50% of the fee for using it just 10% of the time. They offered credits rather than money back. Their reasoning is that the services are discounted. They shouldn't discount the services if they are planning to implement these dark patterns of squeezing every single cent out of the people who have used their services. Shame really - I first thought this would be a short time off from using their service but after the "royal treatment" this is a breakup - and yes, it's you, not me.

Could not progress past their MaxMind error. Customer support were reviewing the details but It would be good to receive some feedback sooner.

More than once I have heard about customers being terminated with no recourse. Their reasons on each count were that the customer broke the TOS. Bottom line if you believe that something is to good to be true, it is. I have little faith that this organization will even be able to honor a 1 or 3 year agreement.

Looking at all the positive reviews here, either I'm terribly unlucky and have stumbled upon a completely broken server, or the other reviews are fakes. The fact is that the promised performance is not there at all. A simple wordpress on their monster vps will not have a TTFB of less than 2 seconds. Even the ssh login is abnormally slow. In short, run away, there are plenty of much healthier and no more expensive alternatives.

I've Been There for One Year, Paid Upfront... Worst error in My Life EVER... In the First Month, even following all security Measures given by SSD Nodes, we were Hacked at least 03 Times. Customer Always asking why our website was down, emails not working, a very very frustating situation. At last we discovered that the Link Provider had Hackers that were sniffing a range of IPs which included SSD Nodes IPs, so together our IPs... And with some brute force technics they had figured out how to enter on SSD node VPS, our VPS... ALL BECAUSE THEY DONT GIVE A SH****T TO HAVE A FIREWALL ON THE BOARD OF THEIR LINK PROVIDER We had to Implement our own WAF on our Board Never Trust your company core operation to Bunch of Nonsense!
