Don't make the mistake of hiring Spot Pet Insurance. I have been religiously paying my monthly insurance fee for more than a year, trusting that they would support my pet's health when necessary. The reality is totally different: they are a complete scam. I have submitted two formal claims, attaching absolutely all required documentation, including detailed receipts and records provided directly by the veterinary clinic. However, they find any excuse to deny the refund. The worst of all is the lack of transparency and administrative hygiene. Instead of giving a detailed and reasonable explanation of why it doesn't cover the event, they just send automatic responses simply saying "claim denied under code X, you don't qualify," leaving you blindly for no clear reason. My last claim was for a veterinary bill of $1,800, and again they denied it completely despite sending exactly what they asked me for. The only thing they serve is to charge month by month; when the time comes to fulfill their part of the contract, they turn their backs on you. Save your money and look for a serious company. Spot Pet Insurance only seeks to keep your money without offering any real support to your pet.
