The reason why I chose this insurance is because they accept dogs of all ages and if you choose to insure it full coverage they even cover pre-existences. Recently, one of my dogs had an accident and needed surgery. It was a very expensive procedure and if the insurance had not covered 90% we would not have been able to give our pet the care it needed. Today I only have one complaint and that is that the time it takes for them to review the cases has increased and it is no longer as fast as it used to be, however they continue to comply with the most important thing for me which is to take care of my pets

It was super easy to submit a claim in the portal! I was able to complete the process in under 5 minutes! Spot also turned around the claim very quickly and I received an approval in under a week! My only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that I wish it covered more. The Canine Influenza shot series is pretty standard now and is required here by all groomers and boarding, but this isn't a covered vaccination. This appears to be a policy gap when covering wellness items.

When I was deciding to renew my insurance the person i was speaking to did not know much about the coverage, also did not suggest less expensive options for the type of pet, age of pet and pets history. The company have staff just there to answer the call. I talked to 3 different person and they all had the same less than average knowledge. As a customer service person being just friendly is useless, staff need to be well versed in the product they are selling.

Submitting a claim through the app was very easy and fast! Being able to take a photo of the documents instead of needing a scanner was super convenient. Being able to track the process made me confident that my claim was being taken care of, and the reimbursement was fast!

I switched to Spot this year and very glad I did. My dog (3.5 y/o) had had recent health issues and Spot had made it easy to submit claims. Process if quick and information shared throughout were clear.

So far my experience has been great, the customer service agents are really knowledgeable and helpful, the empathy with the issue with my pets is amazing and I have being able to solve and understand all my questions and claims.
