I’ve had an awesome experience. The agent was very helpful an instrumental in assisting me chose the right plan, which I had previously prefilled the application out prior to calling. She confirmed that my choices were good and would fit what I could afford and give me just enough coverage.

Very Happy with Spot Insurance
We are so glad that we got Spot pet insurance for our newly adopted shelter cat. A couple of months after we adopted him, our vet identified some issues that would have been costly for us to manage. The insurance plan worked like a charm. Claims were easy to file online and were processed quickly. We are very grateful, and our boy is doing great!

Every claim will be denied because of a nonexistent pre-existing condition
It doesn’t matter what your pet is diagnosed with. They will do everything in their power to market as a pre-existing condition and then when you ask, why will not give you any details on why they justified that and will refuse to provide the copy of the medical records, they’re supposedly using to determine that. It’s a complete scam I’ve ever dealt with.

Hi Emery, Know we’re never happy when we have to deny a claim for a pet parent. We do our best to be transparent regarding our need for medical records. All claim decisions are based on your pet’s medical records and the signs/symptoms that are noted in those records. Most pet insurance providers including Spot use a pet’s medical records provided by your veterinarian to determine if there are any pre-existing conditions that would keep us from approving a claim. If you need further assistance, please give our customer service team a call at 1-800-905-1595.
