Keep finding any excuse to not reimburse the full percentage. I have sent in documents from my pet’s vet stating how illnesses are not connected to a pre-existing condition yet they still won’t cover because they see a word stated twice. For example, the vet used the word “dermatitis” twice so they said it’s the same condition

My only concern is not understanding why I have to submit a SOAP every time I submit a claim. I would have given a 5 star rating if this was not an issue. I am very pleased with SPOT Insurance. The claim is taken care of in a timely manner and to my satisfaction. I would strongly recommend SPOT Insurance.

Hi Jacqueline, Thank you for sharing your experience! All claim decisions are based on your pet’s medical records and the signs/symptoms that are noted in those records. Most pet insurance providers including Spot use a pet’s medical records provided by your veterinarian to determine if there are any pre-existing conditions that would keep us from approving a claim.
