Efficient Claims

Spot has been amazing so far. I have used my insurance twice since obtaining it last year, once for each of my 2 dogs, and the response time and payments have been quick.

I formerly had Many Pets insurance which switched to Odie. Fortunately, I never had to use Many Pets, but the transition to Odie was a nightmare (look at Google reviews) for many clients including me. Before Many Pets I had Pet’s Best, terrible customer service and denied claims in 24hrs as pre-existing and had not been sent medical records. I was preparing to have to battle with Spot because of previous experiences. I must say that I am blown away by how quick and easy this process was.

Very easy, scanned in my vet bill and within a couple of days I received a portion of my bill delivered to my checking account.

I regret going with Spot Insurance and paying upfront for a year. So far they have denied my claims, saying that it's a pre-existing condition. However, my cat was never treated for any of the issues before and the things he was treated for are in no way related to the claims I submitted. They make it impossible to get in touch with customer service to dispute a claim. Can't email or chat online - can only call. However, each time I tried to call I sat on hold for over 30 minutes before giving up. Do not go with this company. There has to be better options out there.

My experience with Spot has been wonderful. Personalized attention, aimed at resolving any issues that might arise so that I can receive the refund as quickly as possible.

The claim process was extremely easy and payment was issued quickly!

After our last cat had to be put to sleep, due to a severe heart condition. We decided, after we got another kitten, to obtain pet insurance for him. We reviewed several companies and chose Spot, because of its ratings and the coverage that we wanted. We chose accident and illness and preventive care. We took our little fellow in for his first vet check and shots. We filed our claim and received our payment without issue. We would highly recommend Spot Insurance.
