I have been with 2 other pet insurance companies in the past. They cost more, fewer benefits were available, and it took a really long time to receive my reimbursement (it was 5 months one time). I love the simplicity and efficiency of SPOT!

I hate that it comes down to this, but you just always read the fine print. They say the claim is processed in 2-3 business days, however what they do not tell you is that it takes 4-6 weeks to review the claim before they process it... At this point I feel like it is a Scam and would not recommend and make sure to review all other Pet Insurance options and read the fine print. Also, in talking to the person a few minutes ago, I really got the feeling that he was trying to prepare me for when the claim comes in do not expect the full amount to be paid...

My Shih Tsu Dahlia tore a ligament in her hind leg. Having Spot insurance, took the worry out of getting her treated and the required surgery. Submitting a claim was easy. Spot very quickly processed the claim and deposited the funds. Thank Spot!
