Be careful with Spot Pet Insurance. I used Spot Pet Insurance for years but when we rehomed one of our dogs (went to my mother in law, in great hands) I tried to cancel my insurance for him and spent so much time in the portal to no avail. I had to call, sit through loops, ended up connected with an AI agent (why didn't I get that from the start? why couldn't that have been a simple chat in the portal?) I learned they don't have an online cancellation option - at all. This kind of setup feels intentionally inconvenient and not customer-friendly. I’d think twice before signing up unless you’re comfortable dealing with cancellation hurdles.

Cancellation requests need to go through our customer service team so they can be properly processed and confirmed. Our customer service team is available by email or phone Monday through Friday from 8am to 8pm, and Saturdays from 8am to 5pm. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate you flagging this.

Spot was Spot on for processing the payment. They processed the payment before my Siberian Husky Enza went in for her 2 week checkup for a torn CCL. They saved me over $3,300.00 so obviously I highly recommend Spot Pet Insurance. My daughter has 2 German Shepards, they were running in her backyard, 1 of them had her stomach flip and needed an emergency visit to the Vet and an operation. They didn’t have insurance, almost $5,000.00 vet bill. That’s when I decided to get insurance. Dogs aren’t cheap, Spot Pet Insurance is.
