The claims process is straightforward, and I appreciate being able to manage everything online. The only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is that reimbursements can take a little time depending on the claim, and understanding exactly what's covered requires reading the policy carefully. That said, the peace of mind and financial protection have made it worthwhile. I'd recommend Spot to other pet owners looking for reliable pet insurance.

Spot Pet Insurance has decent rates and is quick to process my claims and provide payout once I've met the deductible. I appreciate that they have an option to cover everything--including regular routine visits--so they can also be applied to the deductible. I'm glad to know my pets are covered.

This company is not ethical or honest. They have denied claims without honest justification. I have had to file appeals and won. The more I continue to work with Spot, the more burden and bust work they place on me. The claim process states that if medical records are needed, they will secure them from my vet. Now I am getting emails stating that I need to provide the medical records myself.

First time using Spot, and I'm pleased by the response. Filing online was easy, and form upload was very straightforward. The claim took 2-3 weeks to process, and I received email notification that the claim had been approved and that a check was in the mail. (Yes, a real, paper check.) After paying the deductible, my cat's ER visit was less than $200. Here's hoping I won't need it again, but cats ARE cats.

The insurance is made to do exactly what is meant. Having this insurance really helped when Dior unexpectedly got sick. I'm so glad I purchased it because it allowed me to not feel stress over getting her the help she needs.
