If you want reliablity, get Teamviewer. Used that for years never had one issue. With Splashtop, I can access a PC remotely for a day or two after restarting it, but whenever I need to get remote access after that, it is always inaccessible. I have to check almost every day to make sure the service is still running onn the host PC as it often crashes. Support tells me I need to run some update, and I have done that countless times. Unfortunately I paid for the annual plan and their support ignored my requests for a prorated refund.

I use this product on a daily basis to access my office server while I am out of the office. Very easy to use. I would recommend to anyone needing remote access to computers.

Very poor support it is very buggy and customer service seem to make it up as they go along very poor knowledge of their own company policy So I asked them if it was possible to manually pay my renewal as I wanted to use PayPal pay in 3 they said just disable auto renewal and then you can manually pay 3 days later I had an email stating I would have to pay a £30 surcharge to do this? Tonight I chatted to a really condesending person called Werner who was happy for me to go eleswhere They are noot anyway as good as the most popular remote desktop software and it is often required to reboot client and host machine Really bad customer service

I have been a Splashtop loyal customer since 2018. Not many issues over the years until today. I had 5 licenses with a card on file for automatic renewal. Until yesterday there had never been a single issue with my billing, however, this morning when I tried to log in I was prompted with a message that my subscription had expired and that I had to renew with a new plan which was almost double my existing plan. I contacted customer service and they stated that because my card was declined (BTW, the card is active, current expiration date, and no issues) that my old subscription was canceled and it could not be reinstated and the only way to continue with my plan was to upgrade to a new plan that they state gave me so much more. So, when I asked what new features was in this new plan, they stated the new features which are not new and were exactly the same features I was already getting. My feeling after speaking with the supervisor was that they made up a story that my card had been declined, could not produce evidence of any notification of the declined transaction and that they did this in order to force me into a new plan almost doubled in cost from my previous plan. Though their product is very good, their business practices are borderline fraudulent. I had no choice to renew because I had users trying to connect that were down and not having another alternative I had no choice. Had I had a choice, I would have sought out other alternatives but in this dire situation I had no choice. I think Splashtop is not to be trusted and I will be looking for other alternatives to remove desktop. Thank you Splashtop but no thanks, with friends like this who needs enemies. No loyalty towards customers whatsoever. Don't trust them.

Malware. I've tried dozens of times to uninstall this (after it being installed by a previous employer's IT provider), and it keeps re-installing itself. Tried contacting Splashtop without success. Their uninstaller fails every time. It's been the bane of my life for approaching a year, and I still can't remove it.

Good, when it works. I'm a new user and during my trial it worked great, but ever since I paid for it I can't get it to stay connected. It constantly freezes or I can't get past the black screen. Just in the last 10 minutes I've been disconnected twice. I realize this might be user error on my part but I can't figure out why I'm having so many issues with it. My internet connection is solid and I'm not having problems with other software. I will continue to try it because I paid for it, but at this point not super impressed.

I have been using Splashtop since 2016. The service has been reliable the entire time. No complaints about the software. There are benefits besides file transfer, and being able to log in to different PCs and Macs from my desktop. It's incredibly helpful being able to see a client's screen (and use a tiny virtual keyboard + mouse) on my phone in a parking lot. In those urgent situations, seeing the screen can save hours of verbal back-and-forth. I had one hiccup with the company when the legacy plan I had been on for many years was abruptly canceled. Even though I'm a tiny fish in the remote desktop ecosystem, Splashtop later reached out with a win/win solution. In a world where cold business practices and poor customer service are becoming more commonplace, I felt like the people of Splashtop took a personal interest in making things right - which is truly exceptional.

We use Splashtop remote access to access clients computers remotely. It is a very easy solution to configure and works great. The software supports multiple monitors, which is a plus. You can transfer files to and from remote clients. Printing is super easy. Overall it is a great solution for remote access and very reasonably priced to boot.
