Hi Rachel, Thank you for your review. I'm not exactly sure what you are referring to specifically, but we do check all member reports and take the appropriate action. Sometimes if we can't verify an accusation, for example, it's one member's word against another's, then it's very challenging for us to take a side, as we always want to be fair. We are not lenient with with any member that is on site with intentions to scam or potentially harm our members and we can be quite protective. With that said, I'm sure you understand that sometimes it's difficult to know for sure. If you have concrete evidence that someone is a predatory scam artist, please send it to us: [email protected]. Hi Rachel, Thank you for your review. I'm not sure why someone didn't get back to you (did you check your junk bin?), as our support and tech teams personally reply to every mail they receive. I'm going to send you an email directly so you and I can communicate about this potential problem. I think it may just be in your settings, but I want to be sure. Of course if there is anything not functioning properly on the site, we always fix as soon as we become aware of it.

Hi Isabell, Thank you for your review. We do a great deal of marketing in the UK, Australia and Canada and therefore have a large database of members in those particular areas (in addition to the USA). You might have something else in your Matchmaker Preferences or Search filters that is limited your Matches and/or Search Results. Feel free to contact our support team at: [email protected] and they can check your filters and give you some suggestions so you get more results and therefore more connections worldwide.

Hi there, Thank you for your review and I'm glad that overall you are very satisfied. I think your gripe about the 420 question is that it's not a filter on the "Matchmaker Preferences (MMP)" page which are the filters that yield "Matches". The reason it's not, is because this question was added relatively recently (given we have been in business since the year 2000), and not all members have answered it. So, if we were to include it as a MMP filter this would severely limit the Matches and therefore not help members. It is an available filter on the Search page, which is dynamic, so members can add or remove it and see the search results immediately change. And, there are more extensive questions about one's 420 preferences and usage in the Match Questions section which are the questions where you select which answer most applies to you and which are acceptable in regard to a potential partner's answers. And, yes, in order to have your profile show (to you only) that it's 100% complete, you do need to answer at least 4 essay questions. Since each essay question is unique, the more that are answered, the more potential members will learn about you. If someone writes extensively in the first essay field, there is no way (except manually) for us to verify what they have shared and if that answer other essay questions. So, it works better for technical reasons to do it the way we have done it. Hi Elizabeth, Thank you for your review and feedback. In regard to our subscriptions most members appreciate the auto-renewal and they prefer to not have to do anything to keep their subscription current. However, for those that do want to cancel, we make it very easy, with one click on the "My Account" page under "Subscription Info". When members cancel their 1, 3, or 6 month subscription, they retain subscribing status through the end of their pre-paid period. This way, even if someone upgrades and they know that they don't want to renew, they can cancel immediately and still keep their sub-status until their time expires. In regard to you reporting scammers over the years (I see you've been a member since 2008), we do greatly appreciate that and I know that Kane sends you emails thanking you whenever you report one. And, we do spend a lot of time and resources keeping the site free of these misguided people, but some still get past our screening, so we certainly appreciate you letting us know when and if you come across any. We will be launching our new background checks very soon, which will be a new option for members so they can show that they are legit and have no criminal history.
