I see you only joined 2 weeks ago... give it some time and exploration and I'm sure you will actually love how it works, as we leave the control in your hands rather than automating who you get to see.

Messages cannot be sent unless a member…
Messages cannot be sent unless a member has a paid membership. If an unpaid member receives a message from a paid member, the unpaid member can respond. However, the members of this site seem far less likely to respond than average compared to other dating sites, so the value of a paid membership is highly questionable. If you are able to send messages but get few responses, how much is it really worth?

Too soon to evaluate
Haven't been with SS but a week. I wish you had more members within my radius of my residence. I try to use the search engine, but they tell me to increase my preferences. It hasn't worked yet.

Hi Mark, Sounds like you might need some assistance with the search, as you may have some limiting search criteria. We have a lot of members, but if you have something very limiting you may need to change that). Remember that when you add filters, you are saying that you only want to look for members with ALL of the filters you have selected.
