Hi Eric, I can see that you have no distance parameters set in your Matchmaker Preferences. All you need to do is add your zip code and select a radius (50, 100 or 300 miles) and you will receive matches that are within that range, and it will show you how far away they are). The same goes for your search results on the SEARCH page. We are less automated than most sites, as we like to leave the control in our members' hands. Hi Elisha, Thank you for your review and for sharing your feedback about our honesty and high integrity. We hope that you will remain on and keep watching for new members to join. We do have a lot of success stories that start off being long-distance. Even if you are not willing to relocate, you can see if potential partners are (on their profile). We have thousands of new members join each month and it only takes one, so keep a look out! :)

Interesting review. We do allow non-paying members to see and search the entire database before upgrading, so there are no surprises. And, you certainly can send "Interested" or "Favorite" members, which is comparable to a "smile". We highly recommend sending messages to those you are interested in, rather than waiting for them to contact you. At 71, it's important to be extra pro-active. We do have many success stories from our more "seasoned" members, so please don't give up. It does work if you put some time and energy into it.

HI Ginny, I just checked your Matchmaker preferences and you had a couple of things that really narrowed your Matches. You had selected "In the same state or province"-- I changed that to "In the same country" so you will now see matches from all over England, and you had "Yes" and "Maybe" for "Willing to relocate". I added "No" since you are actually looking for people near you, it would be ok if they were not willing to move. Hope this helps and we hope you'll update your review. And, non-paying members CAN read and reply to messages subscribing members send. Thank you for the review. I'm going to email you directly to make sure you understand how to use the site. I just checked your Matchmaker Preferences which are the filters used to get your Matches and you had "Anywhere, love it love" selected for your location preference which is why you were getting matches from all over. I changed it to your zip code and selected 300 miles as a radius. Searching by distance also works perfectly, however, your Search filters had no zip code and radius selected. I added your zip and selected 100 mile radius so now you are seeing women who live in your vicinity. I think you just need a little guidance in using the site. Our fabulous support team will also send you an email to make sure you know how to use our site. You can also get a lot of support on the Help page after logging in.

Hi Venise, We market to "spiritual singles" not any specific race. Whomever joins, joins. So, that is out of our control. I hope you will consider changing your review.
