I moved from Southern California to Northern California and immediately started feeling awful. I suspected it was the lack of vitamin D from the sun. I bought the Sperti vitamin D lamp and started using it. I craved it and couldn’t wait until it was time to use it again! It made me feel a lot better. I love my vitamin D lamp!!

I live in a northern latitude where it is impossible to get adequate vitamin D from the sun, so I bought the Sperti Vitamin D Sunlamp in hopes of being able to avoid the need for oral supplementation. Unfortunately, after 5 months of use, my blood levels of vitamin D did nothing but drop significantly. My blood test results: September 24, 2020 - 40.2 ng/mL (solely from sunlight exposure throughout the summer) January 27, 2021 - 29.9 ng/mL (after using the Sperti lamp every day for 5 minutes for 3 months) April 5, 2021 - 24.9 ng/mL (after switching to using the Sperti lamp every day for 10 minutes for 2 months) I don't believe that oral supplementation is as beneficial as natural skin production, so I REALLY wanted this lamp to work, and am very disappointed that it doesn't. Not to mention, the 60-day money back guarantee barely gives you enough time to really test how it's working, so it was an expensive waste of money. I just want to caution others before you make this purchase.

I really like it. It is easy to use and very portable. It's like a small version of the tanning booths that I used to use before covid. With covid I sought out an affordable way to tan at home. I mostly use it for my face and upper body and it works great. I would definitely buy it again.

UPDATE They finally emailed about a restock of bulbs august 23rd. I immediately ordered 2 bulbs. They arrived in a completely smashed box. By some miracle the bulbs were not destroyed. However , when i installed them in the lamp with the other 2 bulbs there is a huge visible difference in light output . The new bulbs are very dim compared to the original ones. The lamp had falled over during moving last year and 2 had broken. Thats why i needed replacements. If i had replaced all 4 i probably wouldnt have noticed. But seeing the new ones next to the old ones there is a clear difference. I feel very stupid for paying $450 for this lamp and then $50 additional for defective replacement bulbs. I got a year of use out of this lamp. NOT WORTH THE MONEY AT ALL I own the vitamin D lamp and the fuji tanning lamp. Needed replacement bulbs for the vitamin D lamp. Understandably they were having issues restocking the bulbs due to covid. I emailed them last November. They said the bulbs should be back instock by the end of december or the begining of the new year at the latest. I waited. Checking the website often . December , january , february pass. Sperti sent me multiple emails regarding restock of the vitamin D lamps, but no bulbs. After the 3rd or 4th notification I emailed them again. They said the bulbs should be instock in the begining of march. I got yet another notification that they would have the lamps in stock march 1st at 9am. I sat on the website for an hour refreshing the page. And nothing. I sent another email saying i was very disappointed that thet chose not to sell replacement bulbs but instead sell more lamps. I paid $450 for the lamp and couldnt even use it. Clearly they got bulbs in stock and only sold them with lamps. They never responded to my email and the next time i checked the website it said the bulbs would not be in stock until may or later. They clearly dont care about their existing customers and only want to sell more lamps. April 26th : Got another notification email for restock of the lamps but no bulbs. Just a slap in the face every freaking time. I havent been able to use my lamp for almost a year at this point. But you have no issue getting the bulbs to sell more lamps. May 4th another email alert regarding restock of the lamps. Still no replacement bulbs for sale.

Great investment for my health, especially as I work to balance my fat soluble vitamins between A, D, and K. Vitamin D is so important for so many things, but the two biggest improvements I noticed is better sleep and not even coming close to getting sick all winter. I can really feel a difference when I use the sunlamp consistently, and can even feel it going to work right away with a warm sensation tingling on my skin. I think this lamp was invaluable during the winter time, and will continue to use it even during the summer.

This is an amazing Vitamin D lamp! Since using it my son's long standing Rhinitis has completely disappeared in a matter of weeks. In my opinion the FDA have got it completely wrong with their guidelines on lamp usage. 5 minutes every other day is completely inadequate. We have been using it 10 minutes everyday since November 2020 (5 minutes front and 5 minutes back) with absolutely no issue and feel great! By increasing Vitamin D levels it improves the immune system enormously, which substantially reduces the chance of infection from Viruses, Bacteria etc. As a company Sperti's service was second to none. They are always very helpful and polite when contacted. Delivery was surprisingly fast too and I live all the way in England.
