genuinely horrible platform. being forced to read sucks, as someone who loved books before my school introduced sparx, i haven't touched a book in two years. pls take it down <3

This should not be homework in any school anywhere. When my school was tasked with completing Sparx Reader, I was ok with it. I thought, "Oh, this could be fun. We can read our books and answer questions about it-" no. Just no. They decided it would be a great idea to give us completely random books. What? Why? Why can't we read our own books? Every time Sparx Reader is set as homework for me, I always struggle. I find it tedious and pointless. It's made to encourage children to read, right? no. I've actually started to hate reading after starting Sparx Reader. And I used to LOVE books. I think this should just be gotten rid of. Completely and forever. I think it is pointless and terrible.

Where do i start. first of all this is the worst homework website ever! for english even maths and science these people make the subject even more boring then they already are! (also putting the "x" in sparX does not make it sound more cool just more stupid how they cant spell💀) Either the books are so short and give you no srp at all or the pages are time consuming and harder to remeber the answers just to get questions wrong and start again and even if you do get all the questions right it only gives you half the srp it owes you so instead of speanding 20 minuets to get 100 srp you only get 50 you are literaly forced to do it the book selecton is bad limmited options and a long grind just to get one stare for dum gold reader thats only limited this "Sparx reader" made me lose more braincells than brainrot videos💀 just to make it clear I HATE SPARX READER!!!

Okay, so first of all, I downloaded Sparx Reader because my teacher basically threatened us with “reading logs” if we didn’t. I thought it would be some boring app where I could fake-read a book and move on with my life. WRONG. This app is out here acting like it’s training me for the Reading Olympics.i cant sleep at night all that going through my head is incorrect like please sybau no one gives a f about you

this is arbitrary, lazy rubbish, spat out by a dumb computer system, all because my teacher couldn't be bothered to be decent and set me real homework. I hope the developers have to experience the torture this app has ensued, for themselves, let alone the non compliance of accessibility regulations

this is sooo bad! especially gold reader pass! I started reading the bare booring books they picked out for me to achieve it to stop reading those books but no! i dont even know how to use it! Dont use it to do homework

my school introduced sparx reader about a month ago but it is absolutely HORRIFIC. you are not actually learning how to PROPERLY READ, you're just scanning for phrases that might be in a question. I keep having breakdowns from attempting sparx reader as you barely earn any points for reading an extract. It is taking WAY TOO LONG to finish an assignment and the books get boring FAST. Sparx has actually put me off reading -even though i loved it =(. I miss bedrock soo much i wish they could ditch sparx and re-introduce bedrock.

This sucks doesnt teach anything when I finish reading a sparx reader book it doesnt mean anything plus 300SRP is a nightmare also stop emailing mom cuz she forces me to do it
