I purchased a 2 piece Spanx travel essentials in black. The fabric is very soft and comfy. I have almost a similar one made by Tribal but it has no zipper in top and collar is smaller. My first comment about the spanx set is that it is uncomfortably hot all the time. So much so that I change out of the top almost every time. I’m 62 and run a little warm most of the time so for you chilly gals this one is a winner. If you run hot I would pass. The top is a bit of a crop- not a lot but if you like your top a bit longer in the tummy area you may want to pass. Also the collar with zipper is heavy so a lot of bulk with a coat on. The pants fit well and are super comfy. The pants have no pockets- that’s a fail for me as I didn’t notice there were no pockets until after purchase. Not a big deal but if you like pockets these aren’t the pants for you. Overall I like my Tribal one a little more with the 3/4 sleeve, small collar, longer waisted and while it runs a bit warm too (similar fabric) not as hot as the Spanx and the pants have pockets. You’re going to spend well over 400 for both Spanx pieces in Canada so important to weigh the pros and cons.

For such a large franchise, you'd think they'd offer more accessible/ paper free returns options. Go through the returns process, only to find out that they dont have the option of QR codes and have to print the label at home. Difficult for someone that doesn't have a printer. Go through customer services to help but even trying to arrange a collection, still no option. Be aware they also deduct £20 from international returns, which I find quite disgusting when I paid £16 for delivery when placing the order. Shame because some products are good quality. But the customer service and returns process let's the company down. I will purchase spanx products elsewhere in the future, rather than going through the website directly

My first order with Spanx: great customer service and delivery to the UK. Products very good quality but I won’t be ordering any more t shirts or underwear because the labels are a nightmare. They are very papery and hard and although there is a printed line to show where to cut them they still have a very sharp edge which is irritating. If you try and cut them out you will end up with a hole in the seam because they are permanently sewn into the seam. So now I have a tank with a large hole in the seam, and underwear which I have to wear inside out. It’s not ideal! No problems with the trousers due to the positioning of the label, thank goodness because they are great. Please Spanx, reconsider your labelling, and then your products will be perfect.

I like the products from Spanx, but the sizing never seems to be consistent. Frustrating when I order a small and sometimes it is to big or sometimes it is way too small. Size charts are not always accurate and I have to rely on others reviews to know it item run small, large or true to size!

SPANX AirEssentials® Pique Flare PantS are NOT a good purchase. I wore the pants once and they are piled already. The fabric is not quality and most definitely will not hold up for traveling. I wore the red pants for 5 1/2 hour flight and the blue pants for a 3 hour car ride and both piled on the first wearing . The customer service is very responsive but the pants are not built for traveling

The website is very frustrating, it loads only a few items at a time, takes a long time to load and frequently goes back to the original page. I wondered if it was my internet or my device, but other sites are fine.

I do like the “carry on” pants and top but the shipping is really really bad.. my order took 11 days to get from Georgia to Ohio so if you place an order, don’t hold your breath

This is just a product review for the spanxs air essentials wide leg pants. They had so many high ratings that I wanted a pair for a long time and when the sale went on last December, 2024, I bought a pair for myself and for my stepdaughter. I have clothes that are less expensive, which I would expect to be lower quality that I’ve had for over 20 years without a problem. I take very good care of my clothing. I literally wore these three times, doing nothing of any significant stress or strain, nor was I around anything rough or that would typically cause any kind of pick in clothing and yet somehow ended up with a pic on the front thigh of the left leg and there’s a line showing in the fabric. As these are advertised as loungewear with very high ratings, I can say that they certainly don’t have the ability to withstand regular wear, or even in my case three times without being picked. The material feels soft, but it’s just not at all durable for the purpose. I kept the black pair because I also found that, although I a size 6 and very fit, the lighter colours seem to show every lump and bump on your legs. I gave the lighter colour pair to my stepdaughter. I wanted to write a review on their website, but I was not able to locate a place to leave a review. For the price of these pants, if you expect them to last you might want to reconsider. I have Lululemon groove pants that I bought when the store first opened and I take care of them and they’re still, all four pair, quite wearable. The style of the air essentials wide leg is very nice and flattering, I am just concerned that the quality of the fabric doesn’t withstand leisure wear lifestyle in my opinion.
