I ordered a pair of pants and they didn't fit so I looked for a way to return them. Spanx told me I had to send it back on my own and they would "deduct" the cost from my refund. I didn't understand that but I mailed it back at a cost of $19.40. It turns out that they would send you a return label (that was unclear) BUT YOU HAVE TO PAY $10 FOR IT AND THEY TAKE IT OFF YOUR REFUND. I will never buy spanx again - I've never had a situation like this with any online purchase. They are offering me a credit for the $19.40 but I wouldn't buy from them again - a very costly order.

One of the worst consumer experiences ever. I ordered something online and the order had the wrong shipping address and name. I called the customer service line less than 5 minutes later, verified my name and order, and they still can't modify the shipping address and name! I wasn't asking to cancel my order! Just update the freaking address and name!

Be very careful if you order anything from Spanx. It costs $10 if you need to return an item!! I’ve never had to pay for a return with any other online clothing store .

Placed an order for a really important event and even paid for expedited 2-business day shipping to be extra safe. When I did not receive the order in the allotted time and saw a lack of progress or any updates on tracking, I reached out and was told if I didn’t receive my package by 7am the following morning to reach back out and guaranteed they would immediately overnight me a new order to have in time for my event. The following morning I see that there was a shipping issue and it was going back to Spanx so I reached out twice via email and twice on the phone. No one responded to my emails or placed a reorder and naturally, the first representative I spoke to on the phone refused to help in any way shape or form and hung up on me. I finally spoke to a rational person on my second call but due to this additional delay and lack of professionalism from my first 3 outreaches, the order could not be overnighted therefore I would not receive it in time (or ultimately at all). For reference, the second call went 13 minutes past the cutoff. An utter waste of time and energy. So disheartened by the empty promises and blatant disrespect coupled with a lack of compassion or desire to help/serve customers adequately — it was astonishing. Some people place orders online for more than just convenience, a glaringly obvious oversight from this business at the highest level. Simply appalling and most certainly the end of my days as a customer.

Ordered item 2 weeks ago, paid for 3-5 business day delivery and still waiting. Wish FedEx was not used as shipping carrier. Have to wait one month before initiating a credit. Didn't realize Spanx was so negligent as a company with very little respect for customers. Glad there are plenty of other companies to choose from for these types of items.

I purchased the Spanx leather look leggings. After the first wash they developed strange white streaks on the bottom. I have tried numerous things to get rid of them to no avail. Poor quality, waste of money.

Poor quality and zero customer service. Spanx won't refund customers. They offer a gift card. Even though they lie and have customers jump through hoops repeatedly promising refund if info provided. Avoid this company.

I made an order on 12/20/21 which was advertised to get for Christmas. After a few days, when I didn't receive shipping information, I went to their website to check on my order. To check the order status, you must create an account. For some reason, their website just keeps returning to the same page and there is no possibility to create an account and check on the order. FAQ on shipping indicate that it takes 9 business days for delivery. Finally on 12/27, I received an email with "Hoorah! Your order shipped!" which included my tracking number. Well, on 12/27 it said that shipping label was created but delivery date will be provided as soon as possible. Today is 1/6/22, guess what? "delivery date will be provided as soon as possible"! It's been 18 days since I placed the order! and my item didn't leave their warehouse yet! I contacted their customer service few days ago, and just like other people here said, customer service is apathetic. "Our warehouse is experiencing delays." I understand that. Everything is having delays. What is upsetting is that they aren't upfront about it, don't let you know, keep sending promotions as if everything is fine, don't apologize, take money. Then send you surveys that do not have active links to actually send this survey to them. And when you send an email, they don't bother to respond. It's unbelievable that a company with such name deals business like this. I do not recommend buying from Spanx. There are plenty of other companies in competition that treat their customers with respect.
