I've used SpaceJoy three times. I had one good experience and two bad, and this will be my last time using them. It seems like they rely heavily an AI so you don't get a design that actually reflects what you want, it reflects what is generically trending at the time. During both of my bad experiences the designers ignored suggestions and revisions that I requested, didn't link products that were shown in the design (so I could actually buy what was pictured) and again seemed to deliver very generic designs.

When I first started my space joy experience I liked the fact that I could work on my project with some help along the way. However, at the end of my journey, I would feel the opposite. Any modifications take much longer than you think they will. The whole space was not taken into account in the design and there was a lot of dead space. One item was lost but they didn’t figure it out for 2 months. Another one arrived in a wrecked box. I decided to return that item and it turns out the customer is required to pay for returns. So $212 later I’m done with Space joy and my project is not complete. Save yourself the time and just get a real designer. That’s what I did after 5 months.

Just OK... I bought the Bliss package with multiple revisions. I opted for the " Open Living room/dining area. I have an apartment that has open living /dining. I assumed the designer would design the entire space. She only designed the living room leaving the rest of the space untouched. I also still have no idea who my designer is as she never actually communicated with me. There was zero communication- no emails, no App responses. I had no idea my designs were done. I happened to check after 8 days later in the app and there they were. Although I liked the designs, i was disappointed that the dinning area was left untouched and i never got any more revisions as described in the Bliss Option. I made some changes via the app and "sent to designer" I never got a response. The app takes some time to get used to as well. Unless you are really stumped on what to do with your space I would not recommend it.

This was a proper waste of time and money. Spacejoy was a disappointment in every sense of the word, is more oriented to design your dollhouse rather than a proper house. Often they don't understand your requests, even if you clearly specify to them what you need, between a change and another even if a small one they took ages. No sense of style at all, I definitely won't use it again!!!
