Pretty good service, excellent product, poor shipping.
They picked up quickly, but it was difficult to pull information out of them concerning product particulars... was surprised they couldn't answer my basic questions. For instance... is it like a rubber? Like neoprene open cell not? Is there a skin on the surface smooth? What happens when I peel it up? Does it separate in pieces, crack, or smoothly come up? Worked great to quiet down our screen door. There are two aluminum diaphragms that make a huge racket when the door is closed. All quiet now. A bit expensive but that's just what sound deadening products go for. Much better than the butyl rubber type because in the sun the rubber leaks out and the surface finish is easily marred. Shipping was problematic, the product was in a roll and was pinched leading to surface imperfections. Not worth returning due to time limitations. Disappointing but overall very satisfied with the product. Would buy again and request a box for shipping instead of an envelope for easily damaged product.

I am not able to research your account with the information that is provided in this review. Without further information I cannot respond to the questions regarding whom you spoke. Just from the questions above perhaps it was miscommunication? For example, you asked "Like neoprene open cell not?" Neoprene is a rubber, rubber is neither open or closed cell, that is foam. There are rubbers that are made with certain types of foams like polyurethanes, these have open cell characteristics due to the addition of foam in the manufacturing process. So I am not exactly sure what you are asking? The product that could possibly be used in the above scenario is not a mixture of rubber and foam, Vibra Block has a polymer base, or perhaps Roadblock R was used and that is a rubber based aluminum faced butyl material. As for the issues with shipping, we apologize for an issues caused by a third party vendor. Your order would have been shipped by either UPS or Fed Ex ground.
