SoundCloudReviews of soundcloud.com

I am djing from more than 20 years and is frustrating to pay every month 11 euro and to be invisible. I had more listeners before I payed no subscription. I think they blocked my account to be visible and my mixes has 0 listeners. All they want is money. If I want to speak with someone you can speak with A.I. I will return on Mixcloud.

Dommage que l'on ne puisse pas mettre zéro ou -10 Ne m'a jamais payé mes revenus artistes, clôture les tickets sans réponse. Inimaginable a fuir totalement !!!!

I have been a long user but recent disappointing experience with them due to poor customer service, despite the platform being good for artists.

Well, here I am to pile on the LOUSY horrible customer service experience I am having with Soundcloud who I was originally impressed with when I first signed up. The platform seemed really artist friendly and I liked the layout and price. I uploaded 4 songs of which SoundCloud monetized 3 of them but refuses to monetize the fourth song SMOKER..all the songs are originals I wrote. SC didn't ask for "proof" I wrote the other songs but for some reason they won't RATIONALLY explain they won't monetize SMOKER which is getting the most views (how ironic eh? Murphy's Law) I have submitted photos of the CD I copied the studio version onto from 1999 27 years ago almost but it's not good enough "documentation". My picture is the image on the song listing LOL still not good enough. There is no published phone support and you are forced to "communicate" with a CHAT BOT--their automated email response gives you a ticket number but with no humans involved (apparently) there is no ability to get past this ABSURD setup. Truly Kafka-esque. Why would a company that has been around for awhile be this incompetent and cheap about not having live phone support. Beyond Frustrated and Disappointed in Houston Texas.

The one of the worst AI bot support! SoundCloud doesn't work even though it charges artists outrageous amounts of money... One bug I reported was fixed after more than six months of nagging... Another bug I keep reporting and they still refuse to fix, more than a year of not being able to add documentation, their ignorance even when you prove you are 100% right, and so on... In short, a new, fairer, and more functional system and management for artists is needed.

It didn't want me to make account so it blocked me from making one and their AI chatbot didn't help at all. Their human help is not any better. They wont reply to the emails and give questions no person can answer because you need a account and it didn't let me make one.

I contacted SoundCloud support on October 21 and October 28 as a Pro user regarding a bug that broke monetization on my tracks. My ticket went unanswered for weeks. Zero human responses arrived until long after the issue became irrelevant, almost 2 months later, on December 17. When they finally replied, it was a lecture about "industry standards" and "supporting creators". They even suggested I "reach back out" after resubscribing, as if the system had ever worked properly. The irony of explaining policy enforcement after completely ignoring a paying user is remarkable. If this is what SoundCloud calls a sustainable creator experience, it aligns with their standards. Certainly not mine. Final verdict: avoid. SoundCloud does not deserve your time or money.

Even as a paid member, with all the bells and whistles, they can't afford to respond to a simple complaint (i am being forced to re-verify my email every day, on the day) within multiple months of being very vocal about it. This, compounded with the fact that there are other long-standing glitches, makes it so it's very hard to defend the company that is happily taking my money.
