My recruiter, Monique Scheepers, made the process entirely seamless. She was open, transparent, and communicated the entire way. She followed up with me after my interviews and checked in on me even before the interview to ensure my equipment was ready and that I was prepared. She also gave me as much information as possible about the client I was interviewing for and this made my interview even easier.

Somewhere has helped me by endorsing my resume to the client and assisted me in the entire hiring process. The entire hiring process was fast since they would help match you with the right client according to your experience and expertise.

However the ongoing process of getting the background check from other somewhere members has very short deadlines which makes the transition process stressful

I had a great experience with the application process, largely thanks to Maria Katrina Vera. She was supportive, communicative, and ensured everything went smoothly by providing the information I needed, guiding me throughout! The overall experience with Somewhere Recruiting was positive—the team was professional and responsive. However, the pace felt rushed during the reference check process. I was asked for reference checks almost immediately and only had less than a week to gather everything, which added some pressure. While the experience was solid, a more reasonable timeline regarding the reference checks would improve the process.

I really appreciated the support from Luis - he gave amazing support, prompt responses and updates on how far the process is. The reference check process was quite frustrating as I had to pressure my previous colleagues and supervisors to complete it ASAP. I appreciate Mary for the frequent updates and support. They really make you feel important abd not just a number that was applying for a job.

A great but rushed experience Overall, my experience was very good. The senior recruiter assigned to me, Ana Torres, was extremely attentive. However, one thing I didn’t appreciate was receiving emails from multiple people without a heads-up from Ana (i'm pretty sure it was outside Ana's knowledge), which made things a bit confusing. There was also an overlap of people asking me to complete the character reference form. Additionally, the reference form itself was quite long. I also felt a bit rattled by how fast the process moved without having enough information. This may not have been entirely Somewhere's or the recruiter's fault, but the lack of coordination—where different people emailed me outside of Ana’s guidance—made the fast pace even more overwhelming. As a result, I had to quickly follow up with my character references, pressuring them to respond to something they weren’t prepared for, which wasn’t ideal. That being said, I did get the job I wanted, and I’m incredibly grateful—especially for the efforts of Ana Torres and Grace Chico. However, Somewhere needs to improve its system. The overlaps were likely not the recruiters’ fault but rather a flaw in how the agency operates.

I was hired and matched to a great client and company. I would attribute these efforts to Ana Torres and Prince De Guzman who both showed exellence and care in managing the process. They were able to match the client's needs to my skills and profile. By them alone I would give a perfect rating. However there was one issue in particular with an oversight. I wasn't provided the reference background check earlier during the interview process and had only been provided after signing my contract with the client. This presents risk should there have been issues in the background check, thankfully there was none for my case. This also led to requiring urgent followups to my reference persons on a short notice, which did not look good especially with my professional relationships with them. I would still recommend this with consideration of the constructive feedback since there is a still more good in the service the company provides.
