I want to give the biggest and loudest shout-out to Dei, the recruiter from Somewhere who helped me land my new role ❤️ Honestly, I’m still baffled by how Dei even found me. My last application with Somewhere was back in 2025, so I never expected to hear from Somewhere again. Then Dei reached out, walked me through the opportunity, and the moment she read me the job description, I remember thinking, “This is exactly what I’m looking for. This job feels like it was made for me.” What Dei probably doesn’t realize is just how much that moment meant to me. I was going through a particularly challenging chapter in my life and was at a point where I really needed something positive to look forward to. Then Dei came along like an angel in disguise and gave me an opportunity that genuinely changed the direction of things for me. From the very first conversation, she made me feel incredibly well taken care of. I was nervous throughout the process, especially during the interviews with the client, but Dei always knew exactly how to calm me down. She was there for every meeting and would even take five minutes before each one for what she called our “prep call.” She would give me advice, remind me of what to focus on, and somehow always manage to hype me up enough to walk into the meeting feeling more confident. And her responsiveness? I genuinely started wondering if Dei ever sleeps. 😂 She was always there when I had a question or needed clarification, and I never felt like I was bothering her. I’ve experienced both sides of recruitment. I’ve spent years working as a recruiter myself, and of course, I’ve also been a candidate many times. In all those years, I can honestly say that I have never experienced a recruiter quite like Dei. She wasn't just recruiting me for a position. She made me feel supported, prepared, encouraged, and genuinely cared for throughout the entire process. That kind of candidate experience is incredibly rare. So this is my very loud KUDOS to Dei! 📣❤️ Thank you, Dei, for finding me when I least expected it, for seeing the potential in me, for calming my nerves, for hyping me up, and for helping me find an opportunity that feels so right for me. Somewhere is incredibly lucky to have you, and I hope you know just how much of a difference you can make in someone's life simply by doing your job exceptionally well. Thank you, Dei. You’re amazing!🥹❤️

I had a great experience with an agent named Cece. She was very professional and kept me in the loop every step of the way. Even though the company decided to change the role requirements and things didn't go my way. I am happy with the way that Cece provided feedback, kept it professional and showed compassion. Thanks to her I will continue using the platform and recommend it.

I'm a founder. Do not use somewhere. They hired us a person (Phoebe) with two jobs who did almost no work over the three months. Her experience seemed faked as I dug in, then i discovered she was posting online about her multiple jobs. They refused even a partial refund. You can find better people on Upwork or any hiring site.

I’m considering applying through Somewhere, but I have some concerns about the recruitment process and would like more transparency about how applicants’ information and assessments are handled.

BEWARE - Scam company. I paid $5,000 to hire a scriptwriter. After 1 month, I let them go because they weren't performing to my standards. Instead of giving me a refund, they tried to push me another person! It's better to go on Upwork or similar freelancing platforms - the quality is pretty much the same, if not better! And you don't have to pay ridiculously high fees. A week later, I hired a scriptwriter, and the hiring fee was a fraction of the price.

I've been part of the Somewhere talent pool for over a year, and I'm truly grateful that Kris connected me with the right client and opportunity. From the initial conversations through to the hiring process, she was professional, supportive, responsive, and kept me informed every step of the way. She made the entire recruitment experience smooth and stress-free, and I always felt valued as a candidate. Thank you, Kris, for your dedication and for helping me secure a role that aligns with my experience and career goals.

I honestly don't even remember applying to Somewhere. If I did, the recruiter made no effort to provide any context (when, for which role, etc.). Instead, I was asked to update my CV, complete a questionnaire, record and upload a video introduction, and submit everything within one hour. The email arrived at 4:26 PM on a Friday. I don't even know what time zone Somewhere operates in, but where I live there wasn't even enough business time left to properly consider the opportunity, let alone prepare a professional submission. The opportunity itself may have been legitimate, but this recruitment process gave me the impression that a candidate's time has very little value. That was enough for me to decide I don't want to work with this company.
