Solo AI Website CreatorReviews of soloist.ai

solo has been a really great tool to quickly get my businesses' website up! i do wish there were more customization options and no character limits in the footer and etc. overall. solo is a great free tool to easily make websites! edit for reply: the copyright text should be more characters. in my case, my website is used for one of my companies which is a subsidiary of another and i can't indicate that due to the character limit

Awesome place to build a website from scratch its so helpfull to the people who have very less funds to host a website absolutely killer of a place to build a website.

It's a great no-frills tool for getting a functional, nice-looking site online. i look forward to there being broader features at some juncture such as page-level meta data, but it is a fantastic offering already - cheers

For one, I'm a fan of open source. Been with Firefox and Thunderbird for as long as I can remember. Saw this pop up via Firefox and had to try it. Needed a basic website to let folks know what we're working on and it did the job well.

It made my website excellent! Couldn't be better!!!

Creating your own website in no time is child's play and intuitive with Solo. You enter what you need for what and start with a few widgets like "About Us," "Newsletter," or "Gallery," which are pre-populated by the AI and filled with images from Unsplash. This is a good starting point for revising the text and replacing the images with your own. Additional pages and widgets, such as "FAQ" or "Newsletter," can be added and easily updated as needed. Linking to an existing domain worked surprisingly smoothly. I would have liked to have more control over the details. The theme's color palettes are fixed; individual colors cannot be changed. It's also not possible to freely place individual elements such as buttons, images, or the loop grid, link images or sections, or add interactive elements. I wouldn't recommend Solo for users from the EU, as a website created with Solo is not compliant with EU law and carries a high risk of legal action. It does not comply with the GDPR and ePrivacy Regulations. According to the ePrivacy Regulation, the use of non-essential cookies and trackers requires the user's explicit consent before data can be collected. Unfortunately, it is not possible to add a legally compliant cookie banner. A scan of my Solo website found three essential and two functional trackers that send data to the USA. Anyone who wants to run a professional online store or needs a complex website for a large company will not find what they are looking for here. However, it is important to remember that Solo is, firstly, free and, secondly, an offering for all those who simply need a web presence but are simply overwhelmed by WordPress.
