I wanted to build my own website that didn't require technical expertise. It was really easy to build my website on Solo and I'm really pleased with the result. I did have a few cliches with connecting the website but got there in the end.

It's a great no-frills tool for getting a functional, nice-looking site online. i look forward to there being broader features at some juncture such as page-level meta data, but it is a fantastic offering already - cheers

Solo est une solution simple et efficace pour créer son site sans connaissance technique. L’hébergement gratuit et le domaine abordable sont un vrai plus. Seul bémol : la plateforme est entièrement en anglais, il serait utile de pouvoir traduire ou modifier les éléments du menu.

I just wanted a basic website for my consultancy, as I mainly use Linkedin. This was ideal. Simple to set up, looks professional and was free. Was a few gliches, and I didn't get an immdiate response to email requests for help, but responeded well when I set up a short consultation

I needed to create something quickly that looked professional. Solo produced a prototype within a few minutes. While I encountered a couple of glitches, generally there was enough flexibility to accomplish what I needed to accomplish and when I had a question, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a same day response from Mozilla. The only reason I would not rate a 5 is that I would like to be able to customize things a bit more. But it was fantastically simple to get up and running and thank you for the responsiveness when I did encounter an issue. Overall --- great job.

Ich bin bei der Suche nach einem Website Builder auf Solo AI gestoßen. Anfangs war ich skeptisch, habe dann aber mal etwas damit gespielt - allerdings noch ohne mich anzumelden. Ich muss sagen, dass auf dem ersten Blick die Erstellung und Gestaltung der eigenen, einfachen Seite erstaunlich gut funktioniert hat. Es gibt allerdings schon Einschränkungen was die persönliche Gestaltbarkeit angeht. So habe ich zum Beispiel noch keine Einstellung auf DEUTSCH gefunden. Die Grundeinstellung ist also Englisch, was dann auch Einfluss auf SEO Wörter und die Textvorschläge der KI hat. Man kann allerdings überschreiben, was man vermutlich sowieso machen würde. Ich würde gerne auf jeder Untersektion der Seite den Button "Startseite" einfügen - die Möglichkeit habe ich noch nicht gefunden. Dann habe ich versucht, die Bilder in der Galerie probehalber zu tauschen und hier ist dann ein Problem aufgetaucht. Die Seite ist abgestürzt. Alle zuvor gemachten Änderungen und Übersetzungen waren gelöscht. Sehr ärgerlich. Auch ein zweiter Versuch hat nichts geändert. Sobald ich Bilder in der Galerie gegen eigene Bilder austauschen wollte, ist die Seite abgestürzt. Aufgrund dessen würde ich eigentlich nur 1 Stern geben - vermutlich ist es aber ein Fehler, der behoben werden kann. Nachdem ich mich dann über meinen Googleaccount angemeldet hatte, funktionierte auch der Upload eigener Bilder ohne Absturz. Hoffentlich ist die erstellte Webseite dann auch zukunftssicher, denn einmal online gestellt muss die Seite auch stabil bleiben und den sich regelmäßig ändernden Sicherheitsanforderungen standhalten.

I recently ran across an ad for the Solo AI website creator and decided to give it a click. Wow. In five minutes I was cruising through a slick mockup of my new site. I can easily replace the photos with my actual pics and place my actual verbiage where I want it. Solo is new and they are still working on its capabilities, like payment processing, but they have a nice solution that integrates a payment processor under a button click. I have built sites using GoDaddy, Wix and more but Solo is, to me, an excellent example of how AI can shine in certain applications. Give it a go, I think you'll like it.
