I've had an excellent experience working with Aaron Richardson at SOLD.com. What really sets Aaron apart is that he makes it about relationship, not just transactions. He genuinely cares about helping me succeed. He's very thorough with market research, extremely responsive, and quick to follow through. Never leaves me hanging. One thing that really impressed me was when he proactively notified me that zip codes I was waitlisted for were opening up. Because he reached out so quickly, I was able to switch and take advantage of the opportunity. Considering the investment and the level of service and research, I believe it's well worth it. I'm extremely happy so far and look forward to seeing what comes from this relationship. I highly recommend Aaron Richardson at SOLD.com to any real estate professional looking for someone who truly cares about their success. Aaron goes above and beyond, and that kind of service makes all the difference.

My experience with SOLD.com was…
My experience with SOLD.com was extremely disappointing and felt like a complete waste of time. After going through their mandatory onboarding webinar and setting up what they market as a "free" profile, I discovered how their referral allocation system actually works behind the scenes.
Upon completing my profile, I was assigned a network ranking of #111. In practice, this means 110 other agents would have to decline a referral before a lead is ever presented to me. Unsurprisingly, SOLD.com was quick to pitch their "Preferred Agent" paid upgrade to boost my ranking for a fee.
While they market their platform as a free service for agents, the reality is that free profiles exist primarily as a lead-in for paid subscription tiers. Unless you are willing to pay for priority placement, your chances of receiving viable referrals are virtually non-existent. I am posting this review as a cautionary heads-up to other real estate professionals so they don't waste valuable time setting up a profile under false expectations.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We do want to clarify an important misunderstanding about how our network and referral process works.
It is completely free for agents to join the SOLD.com network, create a profile, complete onboarding, and be eligible to receive referrals. There is no subscription required to participate. When we successfully connect an agent with a consumer and that referral results in a closed transaction, SOLD.com earns a referral fee at closing.
We do offer optional paid programs for agents who want additional exposure and opportunities within our network, but participation in those programs is not required to receive referrals.
When matching consumers with agents, we consider a number of factors, including location, availability, experience, MLS performance, and performance within our network. Our goal is to connect each consumer with a qualified agent who is a strong fit for their specific needs.
We would encourage you to remain in the free program. There is no cost to participate, and you’ll continue to have opportunities to connect with SOLD.com consumers as they become available in your market.
Our goal has always been to give agents an opportunity to grow their business without requiring an upfront investment to participate in our referral network.

Never able to even get profile set up
Never able to even get profile set up! I try, but it comes up 'agent not found.' They said they would send it to IT. And wait 10 business days. After waiting 12 business days, I called & finally managed to get hold of someone who told me "IT checked it out & the problem is on your end." HOW??? I tried signing in on 2 computers, 2 different OS, and she said "it's your server." HOW would my server result in "agent not found"? She also told me IT had sent me an email yesterday, but they didn't! THEN the truly bizarre claim that my issue with "agent not found" when I try to find my profile has something to do with my GMAIL!!! The "rep" I was assigned to, when I call his number, I get "extension not found." This is really sketchy. PS their multiple claims to me that they sent to IT & I had to wait almost 3 weeks for "IT to deal with it" were LIES? Why wait to look into it properly until AFTER a review???
Response from SOLD.comSep 17, 2026
Hi Emily, we’re very sorry for the frustration here. We looked into this as soon as we received your review and found that your original request was unfortunately not properly forwarded to our IT team. That was our mistake, and we apologize for the confusion and conflicting information you received while trying to get it resolved.
We have corrected the issue and just sent you an email with access to your account. We’ve also extended your subscription by 30 days at no charge to make up for the time you were unable to access it.
We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and hope you’ll find everything working as expected now. If you have any additional issues, please reply to the email we just sent and we’ll make sure you’re taken care of.

This company egregiously misrepresents…
This company egregiously misrepresents its services and engages in deceptive lead generation. I learned about SOLD.com through a Tom Ferry seminar. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution any professional agent (Including Tom Ferry) associating his name with a company that appears to misrepresent its services in this way. I purchased two ZIP codes at a “discounted rate” of $1,200. I was told that I would receive approximately 40–45 verified leads for each area and that this was considered a very strong lead volume. Within the first two weeks, I received five leads. I followed up with each one immediately and found: 1. Most had incorrect phone numbers or emails. 2. None had any intention of selling and did not understand why I was contacting them. 3. One property was already in foreclosure. 4. Most of the phone numbers went directly to a Google voicemail service. I contacted the salesperson who sold me the leads and explained the situation. He said he would escalate the matter which ended up in the IT department (what does IT have to do with this?). Because of the very delayed response and the poor quality of the leads, I submitted a written cancellation request. I also attempted to call the company’s 800 number several times to reach a person, but my calls were either disconnected or met with a recording stating that the call could not be completed.
I finally received an email stating they have a “strict no refund policy” and justifying their illegitimate lead verification system. This experience has been beyond disappointing and the company’s lack of communication has only made the situation worse. Save yourself the grief and do NOT invest any of your time or money into this company.

Professional Review & Warning for Mortgage Brokers Considering Sold.com Leads
I want to share my experience with Sold.com as a caution to other mortgage brokers evaluating paid lead programs.
Sold.com presents itself with a strong and polished front-end sales approach. In my case, I worked with Joni Stroller, who did an excellent job articulating the value proposition. The concept itself is compelling: access to homeowner leads with potential for refinance or purchase opportunities, along with the added benefit of building relationships with listing agents.
However, in practice, the quality of the leads fell significantly short of expectations.
While I fully understand that leads are inherently speculative and represent potential—not guaranteed—business, there is still a baseline expectation of viability. Unfortunately, in my experience, approximately 99% of the leads were not financeable. Many were far from qualifying for a mortgage, which created a major disconnect between what was presented and what was delivered.
I was specifically led to believe these would be semi-qualified prospects suitable for future transactions. That was not the case.
Additionally, one of the selling points was the opportunity to connect with new real estate agents through these transactions. In reality, most of the agents either:
Were unaware of the Sold.com connection, or
Preferred to continue working with their existing lending partners
This is understandable and consistent with how our industry operates, but it further reduced the practical value of the program.
From a cost perspective, I invested $1,500 upfront for coverage in two counties/ZIP codes (discounted rate). While I did receive leads, none converted into business despite consistent follow-up efforts, including:
Phone calls
Email outreach
Drip campaigns
Repeat follow-ups
Ultimately, the return on both time and financial investment was negligible.
Final Assessment:
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Sold.com lead programs to other mortgage brokers. Unless you have excess time and budget to allocate toward low-probability opportunities, there are more effective ways to generate business in this market—even traditional prospecting methods may yield better results.

A great service as long as you work it!
The user platform is very user friendly for tracking leads. Most of the leads are legit. Some have bad emails or phone numbers, but that is normal for this type of service. I was able to take one of my leads and schedule a meeting to get a listing contract. I helped the client get her home ready for sale and we hit the market after about 6 months. Overall, I like that you pay up front for leads and nothing else as long as you do all the scheduling and updating for the listing. I would definitely recommend!

Stay away, Fake Leads
I’ve been a partner agent for over 6 months. Within a month I asked for my money back and they refused. We call, text, email leads immediately. I have found half these leads don’t live at the properties provided, sold them years ago, or rented them… not the owners. Another 45% say they never provided any information as sold.com says they did via online campaigns. Majority say they have gotten several calls prior to us getting the number from other agents using the same platform and have reported the company. Sold.com is a waste of money! Do not do it!
