I continue to receive statements from my insurance
carrier denying a claims from solace It's up to almost $1000. I was told that there would be no cost to
me for using solace. My doctor has not received any
contact from solace regarding medicare or Glp-1 and
I haven't heard from a solace rep lately.

FEDERAL CRIME PLEASE READ SERIOUS Medicare HIPPA and Billing compliance violation
Follow Up from Your Manager on 9/18/2026 (NO calls as requested)
Thank you for your patience while we investigated this. We have now determined what occurred and want to provide you with an update.
Solace uses eligibility information returned by health plans to verify a patient's insurance coverage. In this instance, the information used for the eligibility check unfortunately matched with your father, who happens to share the same name and date of birth as our patient. The eligibility response returned your father's Medicare coverage information, which was then associated incorrectly with our patient's account.
Our patient did receive services from Solace. The issue was that claims for those services were submitted using your father's Medicare information. We have confirmed that no additional claims will be submitted using your father's information, and we are voiding and refunding the affected claims through Medicare. Once our patient's correct insurance information is confirmed, any appropriate claims for services actually provided will be submitted to that patient's correct coverage.
We recognize the concern and inconvenience this has caused you and your father. We have also escalated the underlying matching issue internally and are implementing additional safeguards intended to reduce the risk of this type of mismatch occurring again.
We will follow up once the affected claims have been fully corrected. In the meantime, please feel free to let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns.
Best,
Birauna

RE: Formal Complaint – Unauthorized Use of Medicare Number, False Claims Act Violations, Provider Agreement Violations, and HIPAA Violations
To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing regarding the unauthorized use of my father's Medicare number and several critical compliance and privacy violations committed by your facility.
Specifically, your facility utilized my father's Medicare number to submit billing claims for services that were either never authorized, never rendered, or for which he was not an eligible patient. This constitutes a direct violation of the False Claims Act (31 U.S.C. §§ 3729-3733) and a serious breach of your Medicare Provider Agreement.
Furthermore, accessing, sharing, or processing my father’s Protected Health Information (PHI) without authorization or a legitimate medical/billing purpose is a severe violation of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Privacy and Security Rules.
Despite multiple attempts on my part to contact representatives at your facility—specifically Christian, Cecilia, and Paulina—to resolve this matter, I have received absolutely no response, explanation, or corrective action regarding this "mistake." This total lack of communication and compliance oversight is unacceptable.
Please be advised of the following required immediate actions:
Provide a complete, written explanation of how and why my father's Medicare number and PHI were accessed and billed. Provide a full ledger of all claims submitted under his Medicare number. Confirm in writing that all fraudulent or erroneous claims have been formally reversed and retracted from the Medicare system. Detail the internal corrective and disciplinary measures taken to ensure this breach does not recur.
I have filed formal complaints with the following: The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Inspector General (OIG) for Medicare fraud and False Claims Act violations. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for Provider Agreement violations. The HHS Office for Civil Rights (OCR) for HIPAA privacy violations.
Response from Solace HealthSep 21, 2026
We take this extremely seriously. Unauthorized use of Medicare information and any breach of PHI would be a serious violation of our standards, and this deserves a real, thorough response, not a quick reply here. We have requested more information so our team can look into this immediately and make sure it reaches the right people.

Hidden phone charges
contacted Solace and had a conversation with a rep. Then, I was scheduled a very short phone call with a Dr.
I wasn’t aware if my insurance would cover it and I could not afford it, so I told them I wouldn’t be using their services. I was then told by email that I would be charged for the “time” spent on the phone. This cost was never mentioned in any phone calls or emails. They then proceeded to charge my insurance for over $400 dollars for two phone calls???? I was going to go ahead and try them and see if it worked for me before they did this. Now I would not want to deal with their company at all.
Btw, they never contacted me at all!! Even though they say in their reply that they will.
Response from Solace HealthSep 16, 2026
We are so sorry, being charged after you'd already said you didn't want to move forward, especially without that cost ever being mentioned upfront, is not okay. We've requested more information so our team can look into this and get it to the right people 💚

Absolute disaster for what this company calls service
Absolute disaster, I want to know which health insurance company Solace lied to and robbed blind for not providing any service to me. I complained numerous times and absolutely nothing changed at all. The advertising is ambiguous the company does not tell the whole truth about the services provided consequently I believe fraudulently billing for services that did not happen in my case especially. I have complex medical and psychological illnesses. Solace was not able to help me Outside of saying they would find someone else to help me NEVER happened. Also I spoke T length about what I needed and after six months nothing, changed and there were no additional resources brought to my attention from this company. This company does not do what they say at least when I first signed up so therefore that is straight unambiguous fraud, in my opinion. I gave the company ample opportunity to make corrections and provide a service. I’m done with the non sensical foolishness and untrue rhetoric. Now tell me who they billed so that I can let the company paying for the service know that this was a scam in my opinion.
Response from Solace HealthSep 16, 2026
We are so sorry, six months without real progress or the reassignment you were promised is not okay, especially while managing something as complex as what you're dealing with. We do see there was an appointment with your advocate on the 10th, and we'd be happy to make any arrangement to make sure you're taken care of. Please give our customer service team a call at (240)693-3281 so they can look into this with you directly 💚

Absolutely unreliable and disingenuous
Absolutely unreliable and irresponsible. At 6pm I made an appointment to be called for a consultation between 740 and 8 pm for my mother's medical needs. Between making the appointment and the time for the appointment, Solace positively flooded my text messages and emails, repeatedly reminding me of the appointment and asking me to be ready for their call. 10 minutes past the appointment window, I receive a message that they will call soon and to remain ready for their call. A full 30 minutes past the appointment time, they finally send a message that they aren't able to get to us today, and to follow a link to select a "priority time" for another appointment, which takes you to the exact web page you used to schedule the first appointment they did not keep. I wasted my time and what I got out of it was 10-12 spam texts/emails and zero help for my mother. Seek help elsewhere is my advice.
Response from Solace HealthSep 10, 2026
Hi Nick, we are so sorry, this is not okay, especially after being told an excuse that doesn't hold up. We've requested more information so our team can look into this and get it to the right people.

Four no shows — do I want to reschedule?
I had four interviews scheduled and no one from Solace ever showed up. In all cases, no one from solace reached out to me to apologize and/ or explain. After the last missed appointment, I called Solace to register my complaint. I was told - seriously- that it was due to my Iphone. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. The company should be investigated for fraudulent service to seriously needy customers who are looking for help. Staff uttered all the right sympathetic phrases, but did nothing to correct their errors. No solution was proposed or provided.
Response from Solace HealthSep 10, 2026
Hi Susan, we are so deeply sorry, four missed appointments with no explanation, and then being given an excuse instead of a real answer, is completely unacceptable. We've requested more information so our team can look into this and get it to the right people.

My advocate
My advocate, Stacy, was horrible. After nearly two weeks of going back and forth with her and my doctor, only then did she bother to tell me that, in addition to my BMI, I also had to have one of three health problems which I don’t have and was never asked about to begin with. Very discouraging and a total waste of time with Stacy.
Response from Solace HealthSep 10, 2026
Hi Susie, we're so sorry, two weeks of back and forth before finding out about criteria you were never asked about upfront is not okay. We've requested more information so our team can look into what happened with Stacy and the process itself.
