I just received my benefits explanation…
I just received my benefits explanation and I didn’t recognize a Jenna somebody and called my health insurance company. For a forty minute phone call they charged me $1,664. I couldn’t believe it. I was looking for resources in my community. They wanted a list of all my medications, health conditions etc. The advocate was suppose to find resources. She didn’t give me or tell me anything I didn’t already know. Absolutely no help at all. AND $1,664.??????? I have specialist, doctors who don’t charge that much. No mention in our phone conversation about it costing that much. Scammers are what they are. I do not recommend them. I went to them for help and all I received was another problem. I canceled right away. People and places like Solice piss me off. How can people scam other vulnerable people is beyond and below me.

We’re sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. It sounds like what you received is an Explanation of Benefits (EOB), which is a statement from your health insurance company, not a bill from Solace. As a company, Solace does not intend to add to the financial healthcare burden that impacts our patients. This means you won’t be billed for endless hours; it depends on the complexity of your particular case. The care you get is entirely unique to you—there’s no cookie-cutter process. And if it ever comes to pass that you receive a bill from us and need help working out a payment plan, our dedicated customer care team will help create one that’s realistic for you. It sounds like your advocate spent time working behind the scenes, which is likely what’s reflected in the EOB. Nonetheless, we’re sorry you didn’t get the results you were hoping for before you canceled. If you’d like us to review your case or clarify anything further, please reach out to our team at [email protected] so we can assist directly.
