⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Kirsten Changed My Life
Kirsten, my patient advocate, has been truly life-changing. Today marks one year of working with her, and if you had told me 12 months ago I would be growing and functioning in ways I had written off as impossible, I would not have believed you. My life had become very limited and my world very small. Kirsten works with genuine empathy and care. She gently helps coordinate communication across my entire care team so I’m no longer left trying to manage complex medical logistics alone. Instead of carrying 100% of the weight of chronic illness and chronic pain management, I now have real support — and that has allowed me to focus on actually living my life. She organizes medical information, helps me prepare for appointments, and ensures the right questions get asked so nothing important slips through the cracks. Because of her, my care feels understandable and manageable, and I get to focus on the impact of treatment rather than the weight of seeking it out. She is knowledgeable, super-duper responsive, and deeply respectful of patient autonomy — she supports you without ever speaking over you. Kirsten represents what patient advocacy should be, especially for those of us navigating multiple providers and complicated health conditions. Working with her has significantly changed everything about my relationship with my body and its needs -- physically, mentally, and emotionally. She sees me as a human, not a collection of problems, makes sure everyone on my care team has the same perspective, and helps me make informed decisions with confidence. I recommend her without a moment's hesitation, particularly to anyone dealing with chronic medical conditions, and particularly those who have been told they are a "complex" patient.
