I love going with all the pups
I love going with all the pups. Unfortunately, the past few visits have not been so enjoyable due to the mosquitoes. Hopefully they die down some before our next visit. Other than that country runs are fun for the pups and bonding 😀

Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re so glad to hear that you and the pups enjoy your visits and the opportunity to spend time together exploring and bonding. Country adventures are some of our favorites too, and it’s wonderful to hear that your dogs have so much fun running and enjoying the space. We’re sorry to hear the mosquitoes have been a bit of a nuisance lately. One of the things we love about the Sniffspot community is the variety of spots available, from wooded country properties to more open and urban spaces, so we hope you and the pups continue to find places that fit your adventures throughout the year. Thank you for being part of the Sniffspot community, and we hope you and the pups have many more fun visits ahead!

I'm so happy this service exists
I'm so happy this service exists. I use it regularly to find places to take dogs from my local shelter out on field trips. Many of of the dogs are stressed and dog-reactive, so having a place where they can run around off-leash can be the difference between a dogs who is jumping and barking whenever someone approaches their kennel, to a well-rested and exercised calm pup.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience and for the incredible work you do with shelter dogs. It means so much to hear that Sniffspot has helped provide stressed and dog-reactive dogs with a safe place to decompress, exercise, and simply enjoy being dogs. We know how important enrichment and off-leash time can be, and it’s wonderful to hear that these outings can have such a meaningful impact on a dog’s well-being and behavior. Stories like yours are a powerful reminder of why private spaces matter—not just for pet dogs, but also for shelter and rescue dogs who can benefit so much from a calm environment and a chance to explore. Thank you again for everything you do for dogs in your community and for making Sniffspot a part of those journeys.

My dogs and I are so lucky to have so…
My dogs and I are so lucky to have so many brilliant Sniffspot locations close to us. I never have to worry that we will encounter a poorly socialized dog or a crazy owner. We try to go to a Sniffspot at least once a week so my dogs can truly be just a dog! They get exercise and enrichment and I get a happy dog. I also benefit from exercise—it’s a win win. I thank my lucky stars that Sniffspot was created!!!

A wonderful service for many reasons
The app is very useful and simple, great descriptions and photos. I like the subscription, too. Many spots in my area are great. None are perfect for my reactive rescue, and some people charge too much for the amenities, but I am a happy repeat customer at a couple good places. Also useful when traveling.

Thank you for sharing your experience and for being a repeat Sniffspot guest! We’re glad to hear that you’ve found the app easy to use and that the photos and descriptions have helped you find spots that work well for you and your dog. It’s also wonderful to hear that Sniffspot has been useful both close to home and while traveling. We appreciate your honest feedback regarding pricing and finding the right fit for your reactive rescue. Because each Sniffspot is independently hosted, amenities, pricing, and environments can vary, and we’re glad you’ve found a few favorite spots that keep you coming back. I love using Sniffspot for my reactive dogs
I love using Sniffspots, both at home and when traveling. It allows my dogs to roam and get energy out without having to deal with other dogs. I've visited 4 or 5 different spots and all but one have been amazing and the one that was not good is no longer listed. We will continue to use them whenever they are available.

Our SniffSpot experience has been nothing but perfect all around
Our SniffSpot experience has been a godsend -- we visit the same fenced three acre pasture and everything is ideal -- the hosts keep it clean, provide fresh water for the pups, and our dogs have a great time running like fools :-) I do see some negative reviews here, and I would say the best thing to do is to check the reviews for the particular spot you are considering before you go.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We’re thrilled to hear that Sniffspot has been such a positive experience for you and your dogs. Your favorite spot sounds wonderful, and we love hearing about hosts who go the extra mile by maintaining their space and providing thoughtful touches like fresh water for visiting pups. There’s nothing better than seeing dogs enjoy the freedom to run, explore, and have fun in a safe environment. We also appreciate you highlighting the importance of reading spot reviews. Feedback from guests helps make the community stronger and helps other dog parents find the spots that are the best fit for their needs. Thank you again for your kind words and for being part of the Sniffspot community!

Great concept, poor execution
I love the service that they provide, but the prices folks are charging to rent out their properties is getting inflated and heinous. I have always taken issue that Canadians are still charged in USD which ends up making it even more expensive with the ever-devolving conversion rate, and the new subscription "credit" model was a bad call. I've been a loyal user since it's inception but it's often begrudgingly so because there are no other options. If Sniffspot cares about their clients' feedback, they'll listen to the thousands of Canadians who use their service and find a way to charge in CAD. As soon as a Canadian equivalent becomes available, I'm jumping ship.

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback and, most importantly, for being part of the Sniffspot community since the early days. We’re glad to hear that Sniffspot has provided value for you and your dog over the years, and we appreciate your candid feedback regarding pricing, memberships, and currency support for Canadian guests. Because Sniffspots are independently hosted, hosts set their own prices based on factors such as location, amenities, maintenance, and demand, though we understand concerns when favorite spots become less affordable over time. We also appreciate your perspective on being charged in USD. We know exchange rates can have a significant impact on the overall cost for Canadian guests, and feedback like yours helps us better understand the experience of our international community. Thank you again for your honesty, your loyalty, and for continuing to share your thoughts with us. Feedback from longtime guests plays an important role in helping us improve the Sniffspot experience for everyone.

Your dogs need to use Sniffspot!!!
Personally, I find this app pure genius. I have dogs that need a lot of room to exercise and I travel often. I have used Sniffspot across the US and love that it is so easy to use. I wish more people would share their property with Sniffspot! To me, it is easy to use, I have the choice to subscribe or not and they seem to have level of quality control and consistency amongst spots. I appreciate Sniffspot so very much and hope you will be able to grow the business and locations.
Response from sniffspot.comMay 28, 2026
Thank you so much for your incredibly kind words and support! We love hearing that Sniffspot has been such a helpful resource for you and your dogs while traveling across the country. Creating an easy, reliable way for dogs to safely exercise and explore — especially for pups who need extra space — is exactly why Sniffspot exists. We also truly appreciate your recognition of the hosts who share their properties with the community. They are such an important part of what makes Sniffspot special, and we’re always excited to welcome more amazing hosts and locations to the platform. Thank you again for being part of the Sniffspot community and for supporting our mission. We’re so happy to hear Sniffspot has made life easier for both you and your dogs!
