Cristina, thank you for being part of Sniffspot for six years and for giving your reactive and foster dogs so many Sniffspot adventures. We took another look at your account and found that a significant portion of the credits from your June upgrade had expired, which we did not identify or clearly explain in our earlier responses. Our Care Manager has reached out directly and offered either to restore those credits or refund their value. We’ve also identified an issue affecting annual renewal timing that our team is working to fix. We’re sorry it took us too long to get to the bottom of this, especially after the conflicting information you received along the way. We appreciate how much you’ve supported Sniffspot over the years and hope we can begin to rebuild your trust.

Thanks for reaching out about this. We understand how frustrating it would be to lose access to your account and then see an unexpected charge. When you contacted us on Sept. 12, our Care Team refunded the full $192 charge and canceled your membership so it will not renew. We appreciate you bringing the login issue to our attention, and we’re glad we were able to resolve the billing issue right away.

Joy, this is absolutely not the first Sniffspot experience we want for anyone. When you contacted us, our Care Team refunded your booking in full and immediately turned off the spot while we reached out to the host to investigate what happened. We take it seriously when a guest arrives for a confirmed reservation and the people at the property aren't expecting them. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and giving us the opportunity to investigate the listing, even though we understand why this experience left you unwilling to try Sniffspot again.

Sniffspots are not all fully fenced, but hosts are required to accurately disclose fencing and relevant safety considerations so guests can choose an appropriate space for their dogs. We also have specific safety requirements for unfenced and partially fenced spots near busy roads. Our Care Team reviewed your report, refunded your visit, and contacted the host about the concerns you raised. We also encourage you to leave a review on the spot itself so other guests have this information when deciding whether the location is right for their dogs.
