My experience with Smilieie was a successful one. The price would be the biggest reason I chose this aligner provider, which is the lowest of the online aligner companies, sometimes less than half the price of alternatives. After creating my impressions, I received 10 upper aligners and 15 lower, along with 2 sets of retainers. The process took about 8 months to complete, with each aligner set being worn 2 weeks. I had crowding with my lower teeth where a center tooth was tucked behind and overlapping my other teeth up front, so there was significant movement required, and I no longer have any overlap. I didn't need to communicate with Smileie very often, but when I did, I got the help I needed. I only had a prior experience with braces and an orthodontist, so I can't compare my experience to other aligner providers.

I started my Smileie journey back in early June, and as of last week in September, I’ve finally received my retainers. Admittedly, it’s been a longer process than I expected, but I think my case was a bit unique. I struggled with the at-home molds Smileie sent me, even after buying additional mold material for $25—still couldn’t get it right. At that point, I was feeling frustrated and almost switched companies. However, Smileie stepped in and offered me a complimentary 3D scan at a physical location, which was a game-changer. While I was there, I was advised to get my wisdom teeth removed, which I did. This delayed things a bit more, and Smileie said I’d need a second scan post-surgery, costing $350. I went ahead with it, but a week later, they informed me that the previous scans were fine to use, so I didn’t need the second scan after all. I’m currently waiting on the refund for that extra charge. Despite the bumps along the way, I really appreciate how responsive Smileie has been, especially Brett Arndt, who helped guide me through this process and made sure I was taken care of. I opted for the top retainers only, and my treatment consists of 13 retainers, which I’ll be wearing for about 2-3 weeks each, so the overall treatment should take between 6-10 months. All in all, while the road has been a bit long, I’m grateful for Smileie’s customer service and their willingness to make sure I got the right treatment!

Dr. Arooj is very helpful and patient working with me to complete my impressions, and understanding with the requested treatment to complete the straightening my teeth. My wife and I have both used Smileie to straighten our teeth. While my teeth are taking more work to straighten, we are pleased with this economical treatment plan. We also appreciate that we are able to do our own orthodontics treatment from home, without a lot of office visits to an orthodontist. A piece of advice: Look closely at the mock-up preview of the end results before approving them to be sure that your end results will be what you expect. I was given one free "refinement" set of aligners because the treatment didn't go quite far enough. After that set, I was charge $199 for another set of "refinement" aligners. Hopefully this will get the job all the way done. Overall it has been a pleasant experience.

They were very kind and pleasant to work with. They worked step by step with me in an easy way to understand when doing the impressions. When I had trouble with things, they were patient and understanding. Overall, it was a stress-free meeting to get my impressions.

Dr. Arooj helped me with making the impressions. She was excellent, gave me good tips, and was very patient. I'm going through the process of getting the alingers so my experience with Smileie isn't complete, btu so far everyone has been very helpful.
