The burger is a bit thin, it tastes good but it’s just not for me. And charging maybe like 6-8 dollars for a burger is crazy, so I tried it out and it’s NOT worth it.

On Tuesday October 6th, 2026 I visited a Smashburger restaurant in the Bronx, NY, near West 233rd Street, Riverdale. Upon entering the establishment a woman who I take was a manager was on her phone, then she looked up to ask “are you ready to order”? No, welcome to Smashburger, no smile, just negative and dry. I then began to make my order and instead of taking my order she took that want I ordered would cost more, yet, I knew she was incorrect. After somewhat battling to get my order taken, she went back to her phone. Once my order was completed, she passed the bag, no appreciation, nothing to ensure I would return. This is the type of people being hired to ensure to pay low wages, yet, to expect high profit margins. This is a poor example of the hiring process, evaluation of talent, and positioning employees as management which is a clear representation of the companies low standards.

Complete garbage. Burger was a slop of a mess, soggy onion rings, crap chips and the chicken wings went in the bin. Terrible

I ordered eggs on bread and waited 45 minutes for my food. When I asked about the delay, I was told the kitchen was handling other orders, despite the restaurant being almost empty, with only one other table occupied by two people.

You have a bs card transaction machine that makes people feel like they have to tip. O% should be the first option not a 2nd screen. You confuse old people into giving more $. I had to help a old person because the girl was trying to get him to tip.

Bought a gift card based on an email advertisimg 20% off. Was charged full price, no discount. Complained and sent Smashburger the email directed to my email address. They are 'researching' the issue. Still no reply as of this writing. Will dispute with my credit card company. Never again. Their 2.9 rating with Trustpilot is too high and beyond their true value. Inundated with fake positive reviews in my opinion. Not to be trusted and undeserving of your patronage. Shop elsewhere at companies which are honest and can be trusted is my advice!

Smash Shack Burger Company i’ve been wanting to try this place for a long time and happened to be in Belleville today so I said why not. Very first off I liked that there were picnic tables with umbrellas and it was clean a nice place to sit and eat. The prices were extremely good and best of all they offered 50% off your order if you are first spot responder or in the military. I’m not one for burgers from stands, but without a doubt, I will have to say that this is the best burger I’ve ever had, and it was just a plain classic burger, the meat was juicy tender. The burger was actually hot. You could feel how hot it was underneath the bun and then with all the variety of fresh toppings I got the combo which was burger fry and a drink for 1497 and then being military I got 50% off holy crap couldn’t believe that. The portions were huge. I couldn’t even eat the fries and I only ate half of the burger that’s how filling it was. If you have never been I highly recommend you go five star rating. You will not get a better burger anywhere and not to mention their fries are made with beef tallow which takes it to a whole different level. Unbelievable thank you the food was absolutely delicious.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
