My kitty loves the food, especially the treats. I live in South Florida, and the delivery was left this morning outside my front door in the sun. Fortunately, it was still frozen.

My cats really love the food. The subscription service is very convenient, but the price makes it difficult to use as the sole food for them.

My kitten, Kat, really loves Smalls! I love their eco-friendly attempt at packaging. It’s just so dang expensive that we can’t afford to feed her Smalls exclusively, so we have to supplement with canned wet food. She also has dry food. Anyhow, that’s why I give 4 stars instead of 5…the price.

I decided to give Smalls a try when our local store wasn’t able to keep our usual food in stock. I’ve always been selective in the food I feed my 2 cats, even more so now as they turn 12. Our normal food is also a fresh option, although I was curious if they might like Smalls more. The sample deal was very inexpensive and worth the money. Unfortunately, once you move to the full subscription, pricing drastically increases. They do give size options, and you do save a little $ per pack when choosing larger boxes, in my opinion though, you need to pick the largest box for the subscription to be worth it, and that is A-LOT of food. Doing the math in comparing our usual food, which comes in 1-pound portions, I am paying 3 times more money to get the same amount of food. They do care about animals and their food is definitely amazing quality, but our usual food has the same exact nutritional content and basically all of the same ingredients as Smalls, only it is 3x less expensive. I did a side by side feeding with our usual food on one side and Smalls on the other, they both went for the usual food first, and they both ate all of it before they went for the Smalls. I will still be purchasing the Ground Beef recipe when I can afford it though, because they do REALLY love that one. Also, I forgot to mention that they kindly include a bag of free treats with every order. I think that is awesome, so in conclusion I believe Smalls is worth trying for your cats. Just make sure, if they don’t like it, to cancel the subscription before the deadline or your card will be charged and you will not get your money back.

My sphinx cat loves this food. I switched from raw because of the risk of parasites. She can’t wait to eat first thing in the morning afternoon and evening. That’s how much she loves the food however, opening the package can be really difficult by hand. It’s hard to separate them. Thank you.

UPDATE: YES! Customer service from Smalls got in touch with us directly, and also did refund us for the missing items. They are currently experiencing the growing pains of a new company. Our most recent order was correct. So, with that, and because our extremely finicky cat loves their food (and has thus far refused any other wet food) we have decided to stick with them for now. ******************************************* Can't get in touch with them at all. They shorted us on this most recent order, missing 5 packets of food. We've tried their email, the phone number they have supposedly for texts, and we have not heard a single response. Social media response is also lacking and apparently we are not the only ones experiencing a communication blackout from Smalls.

I have really been happy with the following: 1. Quality of food 2. Quality of packaging 3. Using the website is simple enough My only frustration has been delivery dates don't actually happen when scheduled. Usually arrive a day early. A couple of times I have been out of town. I had to ask a friend to pick up the products from our community mail room and unpack for me.

I really like Smalls, I think their food is well made and very healthy for cats. I like the size of their portions and the ease of opening, storing and serving. Their website needs some updating; it is not very intuitive and I find it difficult to find specific information. I have searched in the past for where they are located, where their food is sourced and breakdown percentages of their ingredients per package. Based on the online reading I have done the company seems diligent and trustworthy. I know that they are a relatively new company are are slowly growing but I would like to see them offer more variety. My 2 senior cats have slowly backed away from eating this food; in the beginning they would eat all that I gave them but quickly stopped eating the 2 poultry choices and they never took a liking to the fish at all. They will pick at the beef and pork selections but that's it. It doesn't go to waste because I have a foster and 2 feral cats that will scarf up the rest. I am going to cancel my subscription for now but keep an eye out to see if they eventually offer any other proteins. I would love if they added rabbit because that is my cats protein of choice.
