My cats only like the pork, but for some reason I was sent a bunch of fish and ground bird and Smooth, bird and fish and bird and I honestly didn’t ask for it so I have tons of frozen product that cost me a lot of money and my cats won’t eat. So I guess it all depends like that I give it a two star because it does compact as well sustainable materials, but the price is a little steep

Received the sample pack a few weeks ago, and my two picky eaters wouldn't come near it! And now, today, I see that, unbeknownst to me, it's an autoship product. So now I have $200 worth of food that will go to waste. If I had realized it was autoship when I ordered the sample pack, I wouldn't have tried it all. HATE AUTOSHIP!!

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I’m truly sorry to hear that your cats did not enjoy the food and that the autoship aspect of your order came as a surprise. I understand how frustrating that must have been. To clarify, Smalls is a subscription-based service. After purchasing a Sampler, a follow-up order is automatically scheduled to ensure there is no gap in your cat’s meals. This is noted on our website, during checkout, and in our confirmation and reminder emails. That said, we apologize if this was unclear or easy to miss, as that is never our intention. We know autoship is not for everyone, and we respect that. Your feedback regarding the ordering experience is important and has been shared with our team as we continue working to make our process more transparent and user-friendly. We appreciate you giving Smalls a try and are sorry it wasn’t the right fit for your cats. If you ever need assistance or have questions about an order, our team is always happy to help.

Had 5 failed deliveries during summer, their boxes get soggy with condensation and Fedex rejects them. Would not recommend. They did give me a full refund at least.

You need a better delivery service. My original order came with just insulation and no dry ice. All the product was thawed and warm. I had to throw it out. You did send a replacement order but again about 1/3 of the product was thawed but it was still cool enough to refreeze.

The customer service is really good and the sample foods are great too. But we ordered two big batches after we tried the small sample package and both times our cat got sick and had diarrhea. I don’t know where and how they stored the food in warehouse but something is wrong about them.

This company is a trap for first time users. You think you’re giving it a try to see if your cat likes it first till you get trapped in a subscription automatically and what was given to you for $35 during first order will be charged $140 the following time. When I noticed a charge on my card so I contacted them right away, they said they won’t do anything to cancel the order but they will cancel the one after it moving forward. Even though the order had not been shipped yet, it was a Sunday and they still had the package in their warehouse being processed, no deliveries on Sundays, all they had to do is cancel it and they refused to do it so they can secure at least a $140 out of me that I did not authorize. So basically one click will cost you close to $200 for a week worth of cat food. I could have fed my cat caviar for a week for this price. The worst thing is that my picky cat didn’t even touch it or eat any of the first batch I ordered. They said it mentions the subscription in the bottom of the first order details in fine print. They need to make it more clear. Turns out they rely on one time people like me.

Thank you for your honest feedback, Maya. I am sorry for the frustration you experienced. That is truly the last thing we want for our customers. While we don't ship on Sundays, our fulfillment process for the week begins the Thursday prior. Once an order is sent to our warehouse to be packed with dry ice and assigned to a courier, it enters a "lock-in" phase where we are physically unable to pull individual boxes back out of the fulfillment line. This is why we send a "Heads Up" email a few days before the cutoff, but we understand how easy it is for that to be missed. We aim to be transparent about this subscription model during checkout, but your feedback tells us we can still do a better job of making these details clear and prominent. We truly appreciate you giving us a shot for your cat's nutrition, and we’re sorry it wasn't the right fit for your household.

She hated your food and i responded with a cancellation but your compsny sent me another case. I paid for both and made an expensive gift to the local rescue

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I am so sorry to hear that our recipes weren't a hit with your cat and that an additional shipment arrived after you intended to cancel. While it was kind of you to donate that food to a local rescue, I understand how frustrating it is to pay for an order you didn't want. To clarify our process, once an order reaches our warehouse for fulfillment, we are unable to cancel or redirect it due to the perishable nature of the food. Because of this, our policy is that all shipped orders are final. We truly appreciate you giving us a try for your cat's health, and we’re glad the food could at least support a great cause in your community.

Smalls cat food is probably great for some cats, but my cat refused to eat either of the flavors they sent on a trial package I purchased. I had problems canceling any possible future auto shipments and finally had to send an email after multiple attempts to cancel online which they tried to make into a consultation (with a charge) to assist me with the cancellation, which was ridiculous.

I am so sorry for the frustration you experienced! It’s disappointing enough when your cat refuses the food, but having a difficult time canceling is stressful. That is absolutely not the experience we want for our customers. While we offer potential discounts on future orders before canceling, we never present it as a requirement or a barrier to canceling your account. We apologize if the process wasn't as straightforward and transparent as it should have been. However, we truly appreciate you giving us a try.
