We understand—even the best food in the world can become a bit routine for a cat after a while! Cats can be consistent until, one day, they decide they’ve had enough of the same flavor. To help keep things exciting for him, we actually have a few tricks to help with "flavor fatigue". If he’s been on the same protein for a while, switching between chicken, turkey, beef, or pig, or fish can keep his palate interested. Sometimes just switching from Ground to Pulled or Smooth can make it feel like a completely new meal to a cat. We want to make sure your kitty stays excited about mealtime! 😸

Thank you for sharing your experience! It is so important to keep a close eye on a kitten's calorie intake, as they need quite a bit of fuel to support all that rapid growth. While Smalls is nutritionally complete for "all life stages"—including kittens—we understand that some kittens can be a bit more selective or have smaller appetites. Because our food is so nutrient-dense, the volume they need to eat can sometimes look smaller, but if they aren't hitting their daily goals, it’s always right to prioritize their growth. Sometimes, kittens do find the texture of fresh food more appealing as they get a little older and their "adult" tastes develop. We would love to be a part of her bowl again once she’s a bit more grown 😸
