So far I’m quite happy with this food. I appreciate the simple ingredients and inclusion of organ meats, it always arrives on time, and my cat has lost some weight while on this diet. My complaints are that the subscription isn’t as customizable as I’d like, I don’t love that there’s pea protein in it, and my cat doesn’t love the food. She does eat it, though! I’m not certain there’s a healthy way to make it more palatable anyway.

Everything thing is good other than the packaging, can be hard to open and gets messy after a few days. I wish they had reusable containers, even if sold separately to make storage easier. I use zip locks which get very messy and kind of gross because the food can squish around in them as the packaging does not reseal or anything.

This is the first time I've tried a human grade ood for for my cats (3) it's expensive, so I am now just feeding my overweight cat, which was truly my goal to begin with. He likes the beef, but refuses to eat the chicken, and turkey doesn't check his "like" box to begin with lol. And no reflection on Smals, because I realize the supply chain in the country right now stinks, you're out of beef. So, we're going to try the fish kibble, I wish there was a wet fish food. The texting for questions is great, it's been a quick response and has always answered and/or taken care of any issues I've had. The "change your box" section on the website does need work, I've tried it twice and it didn't change the order at all, and I'm pretty tech savvy, so it either isn't working or is a tad confusing lol.

I had a bit of trouble navigating my box so I received items I didn’t intend to receive ( flavors my kittens don’t seem to like ) But customer service fixed it so my next box was what I expect so that was very helpful

Food is liked with addition of other canned food. Had to hold off on the orders as I am not going through it as fast as I thought I would but my cats are eating well.

It's a little expensive. Also, the pieces are a little big for kitties (freeze dried kibble).. the small ones are fine but they can be up to an inch or an inch-and-a-quarter and my cat rarely chews.

I would recommend Smalls to any cat parent whose pet likes bird and beef meats. The food is delivered frozen and you get a message when it had been left at your door. There are no artificial dies or preservatives. My cat has a very sensitive stomach and most grains do not sit well with her. I was pleased when she tried the chicken recipe for a few days and she seemed to digest it well. We only had success with the chicken as my cat does not eat beef nor turkey, (she prefers fish) and that is the only reason I gave them 4 out of 5 stars. Even being a small company, Smalls for Cats has a great customer service, prompt and friendly.

Overall experience if that's ok: First of all, my kitty boy Toki loves the chicken and turkey wet foods. Beef made him sick so we don't get beef anymore, but his energy has notably improved and his coat is so soft. He's a happy dude for being 10 years young! In terms of ordering, the website could be better which I'm sure you guys are working on. If someone wanted to unsubscribe or even change their address, there should be a simple way of doing that on the site without having to email or text someone. I'm still getting used to judging when to ship in between orders. I usually end up shipping too late so I have to hold my cat over with plain dry food while we wait for his wet food to come in. Also, I don't always get exactly what I order -- most of time, there's substitutions with no notice as to why. As long as it's chicken and turkey it works for us, but I much prefer dealing with the tube than the flat pouch packaging. Overall, I know I'm giving my boy a great product so I'm happy with being a Smalls customer. Once the other details sort themselves out, I will happily upgrade our experience to five stars. Thanks! ⭐
