The food is high quality and my cat loves it! I appreciate the environmentally conscious packaging as well! My only issue is the packaging. It looks like you’re supposed to be able to peel off the top to access the food but mine never seems to work and it’s been really challenging trying to open the food without getting it everywhere. The ground large bird round “chubs” you had last month were awesome and so easy to open and remove the food but now you’re doing those like the ground small bird with the rectangular packaging and those are the ones I’m having issues with!

I love everything about Smalls and so do my cats. I have three cats and two immediately took to the food, the third is my oldest and required some coaxing (I used Smalls' liquid gold broth) and I had to try all the flavors before I found her favorite (smooth turkey)... but now she loves it! I do have two complaints though and these are very minor but they are the reason I took a star off. One is that 90% of the time I cannot get the food packet plastic open without scissors. There is a small triangle on the edges that you're supposed to be able to pull to open the plastic but most of the time it doesn't work; it either just rips off or is too tough to pull off and I have to use scissors. This is annoying because then my scissors get cat food on them and I have to clean them off. Since I'm opening about a packet a day because I have three cats... this just gets very tedious and I wish they'd fix it. My second complaint is that the reusable Smalls branded tupperware containers are awkward to close/seal. I have done it so many times that I've figured out the best way to close them quickly but these are definitely some of the worst tupperware containers I've ever used. I still prefer to use them over my own containers because they fit the food packets perfectly and I appreciate that, but I just wish they'd make them quicker/simpler/easier to close. You have to line both ends of the lid up perfectly and this isn't easy because its rubber and stretches/slides. You then have to press down evenly across the entire lid (which is pretty long, it's rectangular) or the lid doesn't click into place all over and you'll have one side that's sealed and the other isn't and you get to play round robin around the lid trying to press it all into place. I feel like they could definitely find a better design for this. Again, I will say these are minor complaints but when you're paying $250 every 3 weeks for cat food delivered to your door... You would expect literally every aspect to be perfectly polished. I have faith in Smalls though and will be sticking with them, my only hope is that they improve these two things! I've had to contact support one time and they were quick to respond and very helpful, I have no complaints with customer service. I also love that I can modify my order from their website, they make it very easy to do so.

Both boys absolutely love the stuff and become very friendly and vocal at feeding time. It is a bit expensive to be able to offer this to both cats as their primary diet. I feed them each 100 calories a day of wet raw & supplement it with an available bowl of kibble. My cats have been on the stuff since kittens and their coat is shiny, soft, and they have very little to no hair balls. I was really hoping I'd experience less aromatic poos from them, but that's not my experience. Pumpkins & Boo would prefer I gave them raw all the time, I'm sure your kitties will too.

I love how sustainable and healthy Smalls is for my cats! Our kitten loves the freeze-dried raw food, the mature female loves the kibble, I only wish they liked the wet food more! They were big fans of name-brand pate and even though I add broth, it's not as enticing to them. Flavor favorites have emerged, so we will continue to push nutrition over filler!

The quality of Smalls food has been amazing. In my situation of 3 kittens, they tend to eat more than supplied, so during kittens rapid growth phase the diet may need to be supplemented with other foods. I was even able to build a custom box with the pleasant customer service texting service. Currently, shipments are a lil late or having to be replaced(at no extra charge and immediately), however all companies and delivery services are having this issue. New options seem to be added occasionally, which is very welcome. I will continue to trust the chefs and dietitians of Smalls.

I wish that the first line in the package was actually a full serving. It’s always less than the amount between the other lines. Other then that we’ll done! Millie is 13 with GI issues and is easily stressed. No more vomiting since Smalls
