While my cats would rate this 5 stars, I’m leaving a star off for the packaging. Often times there are little cuts/holes in the plastic and so they will leak a bit as they thaw. And also, it’s a huge pain to try to open as instructed - pretty much impossible - that I have to just pull out the scissors. Plastic cups with foil lids that peel off would be a great improvement, or… anything else lol.

I dont like how strict the subscription is. I want to order less food. I can't fit so much in my freezer. I dont like that i have to switch plans to adjust my wet/dry food ratio. Why can't i just change that in the cart. Give me a minimum spend and let me fill my cart.

My only complaint is your packaging. It's awful. I have had only ONE package open as you instruct. Every single other one I have had to cut open and end up with quite a mess. Your pull tabs DO NOT WORK, at least for me. If you could come up with a better packaging I would be most grateful. Is it possible to use like milk carton type material instead the plastic? Then maybe have it open fully on one end? Just ideas. Otherwise, my cats seem to like the food and I have little waste left after their meals. That's good!!! As of now, I intend to continue feeding them Smalls. That's also good!!! Thx, Becky Gardner

I’d like my cats to be on Smalls exclusively but it’s not happening. They still need the Smalls food mixed with canned food like Ziwi Peak Venison and Tiki Peak Ahi Tuna. Any chance you’re adding other protein options?

I want to lead by saying that this cat food is great. The ingredients are amazing, it's conveniently delivered to your door, the text customer service is spot on and my cats love it. I also want to mention that I have two sphynx cats that, without eyelashes, have eyes that will sometimes tear. Since switching foods, I have not had to wipe their eyes at all! The kibble pieces are also so small which is great for my female who has some missing teeth! The only reason I did not give a 5 star review is because there are some cons. The website is a little confusing and is impossible to order or add on kibble for your first order without having customer service help you. My cats aren't picky and I would've loved to be able to shop and add myself but had to have many conversations with customer service. My first order also was delivered with the wrong products and I didn't have enough to last me. I was misquoted for my monthly costs twice by the cat concierges so was surprised that the actual cost was double so had to switch to half wet and half kibble. Which they love. Then this is the biggest con of all, but the packaging is horrible for their wet food. There is a pull tab and it doesn't work. I've been through at least ten wet food packages so far. Every time I feed them, I get cat food all over my hands and it's so hard to count the reference lines when you have to cut it open with scissors. My scissors are also covered in the food. My temporary fix is leaving them frozen and cutting them like that, which is less messy, and then putting them in separate containers to thaw. I hope in the future the packaging gets changed because it is quite annoying! All in all, I will continue to purchase as my cats health and happiness has done a 360!

My cats really like the food and so do I but many of the packages leak when they thaw. The drawer I put them in (one at a time) was full of chicken juice after thawing one or two of them. Its the peel packages, not the twist ones. That is why I took off a star because it was grody to clean. Other than that, I love this brand!

So far the food itself has been great for my cats. One has issues with her teeth, and both the ground and smooth options are easy for her to eat! She also happens to be a finicky eater, but she loves the chicken and the turkey equally. My other cat has had stomach issues ever since a bad can of store-bought cat food messed her up, but since she's been eating Smalls for the past month or so, she hasn't had any vomiting at all! Shipping is also very convenient and easy to manage. The ONLY reason I can't give 5 stars is because the actual packaging for the food is a nightmare. It comes in these long, plastic things that you're *supposed* to be able to peel apart to open, but I have yet to open a single one without cutting it, which in worst cases leads to leaking, so I recommend cutting it open before it's fully thawed. I've taken to doing this and storing the food in mason jars instead. You lose the handy measuring system on the side of the packaging, but it's worth it not to have meat juices all over my fridge and counters. Other than than the packaging, this product is wonderful thus far! I still definitely recommend it!

The food is great, my kiddins like the smooth bird and other smooth bird, I did find the ordering process a bit confusing and inacurate, I will order again when I have fed the food I have is gone, I have sooo much. mmmmk
