SmallsReviews of smalls.com

My picky cat loves this food and absolutely licks her bowl clean. Great quality ingredients, always gets delivered super fast and still frozen. Customer service was great at resolving issues in a timely manner as well. Not the biggest fan of the subscription based model, however, and would love the option to purchase just a few packs a month because they can be pricey.

We recently started our girl on Small’s after her previous food from a big manufacturer was discontinued. We knew we needed a diet that was grain free, limited ingredients, pate and provided some moisture as our girl refuses to drink any water. I researched a lot of foods and Small’s kept rising to the top on several of the reviews and comparisons. We placed a sample order and when it arrived, we decided to switch our girl cold turkey to the Small’s. She chowed down on her new food like she hadn’t eaten in days! Immediately scheduled her subscription to arrive every 3 weeks so we can be assured we won’t run out because of unforeseen circumstances. Now, the 6 remaining cases of her old canned food is going to be donated to our local animal shelter so essentially it’s a win-win all around. The one Small (see what I did here😊) drawback with her food is the cost, but we felt that she deserves the best with good quality and safely produced food, so we just bit the bullet and are staying with Small’s. A word about the Bird Nip, which is the cat treats that accompany each order. Our girl is absolutely obsessed with the Bird Nip. We can’t even open the pantry door anymore without drawing her attention! Of course, everything in moderation so she’s allowed about 15 treats a day and that works for all of us…well, probably more for us than her but regardless, it works.

It is easy to interface with their website. I tried the initial sample box and my cat loved it! She is 11 years old and has had diarrhea for 4 or 5 years. I tried everything the vet recommended, all of the good foods on line and locally and nothing worked - she threw them up, would not eat them and still had diarrhea! When she first tried Smalls, she loved it, did not throw up, and after one week on Smalls food, she is having solid poops!!!

Kitty has gained weight, has a better coat. I like smalls more than any canned food.

Our 6 cats love Smalls food, but it's just a bit too pricey for us. We will try to order as a treat here and there. I do recommend if you're able to afford it. I think natural is the way to go if you can.

My cat Pooh was diagnosed with severe hypothyroidism last fall, and lost a lot of weight . The vet told me a lot had to do with the awful canned food on the market. I tried sooo many “top quality” brands at my local chain pet store, but found that I was returning most because she would eat them. I saw Smalls on a Facebook feed, and I decided to give them a try. SHE LOVED IT! She stopped losing weight, and eagerly kept eating their food. She loved the pig best. Unfortunately, the disease took its toll on her, and devastated our family when she passed. I contacted the company to cancel my monthly order, they not only cancelled, but credited my account for that box since it was already shipped. They told me to either donate it or give to friends to try. I received so many condolences from their company and they even sent me a beautiful plant and adorable planter in memory of my Pooh. I can’t say enough about this company to all of my friends and family. Truly wonderful people work here with this fantastic cat food! It may have seemed pricey at first, but knowing my little girl loved this food which made her so happy her last few months was well worth it. Thank you Smalls for everything!

I have 2 male cats (7 and 8 years old) One ultra picky and the other one over indulgent!… my “ultra picky kitty” (and stubborn!!) took a bit longer to adapt and, for a few days, he refused to touch his Smalls meals … thankfully he totally came around and now devours his smalls meals (some recipes more than others but he does eats everything). My “over-indulgent kitty” used to constantly meow for food and i have seen such a significant improvement, i can’t believe it. He feels so much more satisfied and doesn’t constantly cry for more anymore! Such a win! I have noticed them cuddling more (full disclosure : they had a good relationship prior to eating Smalls meals). As a cat mom, not only am i happy with the quality of the food) but i also really enjoy their website (phone friendly) and how easy it is to edit my orders content and delivery frequency.

My sample box came very quick and was Packed with dry ice so I did not have to worry about it sitting outside. My kitty gets really excited when it is meal time. He prefers the smalls fresh foods , especially the pulled meats. It gives me great joy to see my kitty happy.
