I am only on my second batch of Smalls
I am only on my second batch of Smalls. There was the trial and now this second, full order. My three cats are in the twelve to fourteen year range. For at least the last eight years they have been on indoor cat dry food only and free feeding. I will spare the details of this decision, except to say it was opinion related. The decision to change to Smalls was also opinion related. None of my three are overweight and none seem to have health issues. All that said my cats did not like Smalls, in the least, but they have never liked when i changed their food, "this is NOT catfood. We want the other stuff back. We won't eat it." I usually wait them out. I was thought, quite surprised; they love wet food, right? So, I did as suggested, sort of and mixed it with regular wet food. As I, little by little, mixed more and more Smalls, they are eating it. Oh, and I stopped the dry food, giving them instead an item from catfood cooler section. It look kibble like, but is wet food...kind of. I do leave it out for them after it has dried out and they eat it as they did kibble, but it is not the overbaked, food colored and fake scented kibble they were eating. Those are the food issues. The order issues are: unless I have to, I don't let companies debit my account, and I apparently didn't read the Smalls contract well enough. I had neglected to order more food, but when I went back to order, thinking," dangit! I should have done this a week ago!" I found the next order on its way in just the right time. I'm not happy to find them debiting my account, but I think I should have read the information better than I did..... oh....cats are at about one quarter store-bought to three- quarters Smalls; its working fine, with no problems I can see.
