The delivery is always fast. The cats love the food and their coats feel so much softer now. They also have more energy. Our oldest, Zippy, has always had bad breath, but this has gone away since we started feeding him Smalls. I'm not saying that fixed it but the vet did say that his gums look better.

Solved all of our catfood issues
Smalls has solved all of our cat feeding issues. First of all, both our cats are prone to getting bored of food varieties and before we found Smalls it was time-consuming, expensive and frustrating to get enough calories into them in a day. They don't like the same foods and one of them has a sensitive stomach and throws up all dry foods and most canned types. But they LOVE Smalls; they always finish the entire serving on the spot regardless of which type of meat, there are no smelly poops, and they are lean, active and consistently healthy and cheerful. The shipments come packed in dry ice and soluble corn-starch separators and they communicate very well about the shipments.

Great service
I have really been enjoying getting my cats food through smalls. Both my cats love it. The food smells like deli meat instead of nasty canned cat food smell. The ingredients are simple and high quality. The customer service is great. My original trial box was late so they automatically gave me a generous discount on my next shipment. Ever since that I’ve had no delays. The website makes it easy to change the recipes I’ll be getting. The packaging is 10/10. I love the water soluble insulation.

I recently started using Smalls cat…
I recently started using Smalls cat food for my adult cat and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the product. The ingredients list is impressively simple, with only high-quality meats listed. My cat is slightly picky and devours this food without hesitation. Luckily, the portions were already on par with his previous caloric intake, so no adjustments were needed. Since switching to Smalls, we've noticed an improvement in his overall energy levels.
The main downside is the ordering system on their website, but I'm not removing any stars for that because their customer service is very helpful.
Overall, I'm pleased with this cat food and recommend it to other cat owners.

Cat loves the food & is healthy; I'm happy with results and convenience
I've used Smalls for around 4 months and have had a mostly positive experience. My cat LOVES the frozen/fresh food, and seems to like the freeze-dried as well. As advertised, my cat's litterbox is significantly less smelly, and her fur got super soft. We were feeding her high-end canned food before and found Smalls is only slightly more expensive; we offset the increased annual food cost by switching to less expensive litter.
We were already feeding our cat on a schedule based on her calorie needs, but it still took us a couple months to figure out a Smalls delivery schedule that worked best without gaps (every 3-weeks). Smalls recommends a schedule based on your cat's calorie needs, but it seemed it does not select their recommended schedule by default. And, if you update your cat's data such that they need more/less calories, Smalls does not seem to update your delivery schedule accordingly.
We have had no issues with deliveries: all the food has been thoroughly frozen in the box. Smalls prep/shipped/delivery texts have been timely and accurate. You should keep the delivered food frozen, and rotate it to the fridge about 24 hours in advance of feeding; we keep 2-3 packs in the frige at all times, and often add a little warm water to the food at feedings.
To avoid running out of food, you do need to either overlap deliveries via a shorter delivery schedule, or be prepared to cover a day or two of feedings using other food (we keep a couple days of canned food on-hand); IMHO, this is just the nature of a mail-order service: there will be variation in shipping time.
It is true Smalls does not cover the gap between the end of their sample food pack and the arrival of your first scheduled box: you will likely run out of Smalls food, so plan accordingly.
We've had one interaction with customer service for a matter that was not urgent. It did take them 24-48 hours to respond via e-mail; their response was thorough and quite satisfactory for my issue.
Their website is adequate, but restrictive regarding what you can add to your delivery based on your current food plan. They indicated they are working on updates to address this.
Our cat has had some constipation issues after switching to Smalls. She has ample access to water, and we are still experimenting with supplements to address the issue. At her last vet visit (last month), she had excellent health, and the vet gave us a probiotic to try. We will see.
