Mainly tried Smalls because my poor kitty has been throwing up all the time. That has decreased a lot, which is fabulous! The seal for the individual portions can be a hassle to open with arthritic fingers.

My cats love their food and it doesn’t smell awful like other canned foods. I would like to see better and more sustainable packaging for the food. The box it ships in is great with the packaging that melts in water. But the food itself is in flimsy plastic. Also looking forward to a smoother ordering system on the website. But I will stick with them and see how things evolve!

My 3 older Cats Like the turkey and chicken food a Lot. Richer than used to and not on long still mix 1/3 Smalls with 2/3 Wellness or Sheba Pate. Their fur is fluffier, glossy, tummy upsets are less. Would be 5 stars but did 4. HATE HATE the flimsy plastic bag cheap packaging its Very MESSY. on me and counter every time. Have to rinse hands, clean counter often while serving and cussing the packaging. GET rigid plastic cup containers SOON like others. Hard plastic More attractive for Sales and No MESS for serving or storing. Dislike intensely serving from floppy plastic bag you use. May switch if find Quality pure food in Better containers.

I tried smalls out because my youngest cat was diagnosed with ibds. And instead of a veterinarian prescribed food, which are manufactured in Mass amounts and in my opinion not ideal for any cat! Since her previous diet was a raw food, a dry over processed kibble was not something I was willing to feed her . Then I saw the for Smalls, and decided to give them a try. I'm glad I did since starting on the smooth other bird my cat, Marteenie, has not thrown up at all! It is a very convenient food I love the packaging both in shipping and how the food is packaged. Nice that you get a little bonus package of treats every shipment. The website is easy to use to adjust your cat's meals and preferences. I find it to be very affordable. And most of all my cat loves it! I would have rated Smalls a five-star except for I the way you start the program, did not feel the need for the trial package as I knew exactly which of the foods I wanted for my cat. Would have been nice to have the option to bypass the sample pack.

This is really high quality cat food, my vet said I can feed my cat primarily Smalls as it has all the necessary nutrients/other good stuff she needs! It’s not cheap ($120/month for one 10lb cat). The contents so far have always arrived frozen solid and I really like that they don’t use styrofoam in the packaging. My cat loves the taste (she didn’t at first but with a gradual transitioning and heating it up in the microwave she got used to it), she purrs and would eat it straight out of the wrapper if I let her! And I really liked the trial to test it out.

I honestly don’t know what I would do without smalls for my two kitties! They both seem to have a hard time digesting other cat food even if it’s on the “cleaner” side like tiki cat. I've been using smalls for over w year now and Since switching their diet to smalls they seem so much happier and have no stinky litter boxes which is a plus! My two cats seem to only enjoy the smooth bird and smooth other birds and are not huge fans of the beef or fish. My only complaint with this company is that they discontinued their dry food! It was the only dry food either of my cats enjoyed as it was freeze dried and not full of junk! I’m hoping one day they can bring it back! Overall, pricey food but so so so worth it!!!

Company is getting better! Since they're still starting out, they have a few growing pains. Like I wish the scheduling was a little bit easier with more options in terms of quantity and days to ship. My cats love the food though and I know I'm giving them quality ingredients so I feel it's worth the extra cash. They like smooth bird the best. Smalls helped get my order to me as quick as possible once o was able to get some help from a live person! Because of that, we're giving Smalls another chance.

It took quite a while to fully transition my cats, but we were patient and now they love it. They did not like the beef so we alternate between fish and chicken. They seem to have a bit more energy, and the poops are definitely less big and ~slightly~ less stinky. They also started loving the freeze-dried duck, as soon as it got discontinued :/ My one complaint is that the wet food is so dry and crumbly and it must be mixed with water which is just an extra step, but manageable. It is also sometimes difficult to open the packaging. It is pricey, but it is about the same as "healthy" brands like Tiki, which still aren't 100% clean/species-appropriate. Overall, I am glad we switched to Smalls and that my cats are eating a healthy species-appropriate diet.
