SmallsReviews of smalls.com

There are not enough options to control portion sizes/shipment frequency. There was not a long enough adjustment period for my cat. My cat doesn't bite her moist food so she didn't like the form of the beef. I am still interested in this product and will keep an eye out for it for it to grow and change inch to meet my needs.

They are packed well, smell good and they do seem very fresh. My cats on the other hand did not even touch the food. After following suggested method from smalls team it made no difference, this left me with a lot of food. Although smalls team cancelled my future order. They did not respond back to me about what I need to do with the left over food, and or refund me for basically trying out their product.

My cat is very, very picky. However, when he finds something he likes, he only wants to eat that. He was slow to pick it up but then he started to go for it more and more over the course of 2 months. We had a break for one day between batches. The latest batch came in and he's not eating it again. I don't know how different the recipes are each time. If they keep varying even a little, he's not going to be eating it regularly

Food is really expensive, and my cats aren’t really obsessed with it.

At first customer service was ok but my cats hated the food. They tried to work with me and then confirmed the order was canceled. I was then charged and received an order. No phone support and getting no responses via text or email. Tried to go in and manually remove all the items in the reoccurring subscription. I also let my credit card company know. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere...Update: resolved!!

Cats love the food but little expensive with uneven small proportions

Good product. Iffy website. My cat's only like 2 flavors. So I got the initial sample box and tried them all out. My cats only like "ground bird" and to a lesser extent "other ground bird". They do LOVE the freeze dried snacks though. Unfortunately the timing of when things ship / will be delivered seems to be a bit vague. I got 1 email telling me my next ordered would ship "soon" and to make changes now if i wanted to and then no follow up. When I attempted to make changes a couple days later it was too late but I had received no shipping notice. The website also isn't great about editing the box either. Thankfully the text/sms customer service is very helpful if a bit slow. They managed to get my ordered sorted out now so going forward i think it will be great but this initial experience has been a very mixed bag. I think most people will be happy with it once they are "on boarded" but the experience could be a whole lot smoother / cleared.

Edit: They were able to cancel my order, but still, be very careful when ordering from Smalls. After getting started with a Starter kit, they automatically shipped me SO MUCH FOOD with NO apparent way to cancel my order online. The product itself meets expectations, but it really sucks that I can't cancel my subscription, because it's so expensive. Also, it takes up so much freezer space. I don't even know if I'll be able to fit all this food that I didn't ask for into my freezer. So disappointed. Stay away.
