My cat could not eat this food. I spent a small fortune on it and everytime he tried to eat him, he threw up everywhere. He even had some blood in his stool, acoording to the vet.Sorry but I can't give a good review on something that might make another animal sick or worse. I couldn't even get a refund on this. I probably spent close to $500.00.

This company is a rip off! They will take the money off your card without your putting in an order! If and when you stop your membership, they will take one more grab at your money that doesn't belong to them!!! I send the crap back that made my cats sick!

I saw a Smalls ad and decided to try it for my babies. When you place an order, they give you the option to choose a “sampler,” which comes with 50% off, and I was very pleased with that. One of my cats didn’t like the food, but the other one did. One day, I checked my bank account and noticed I was randomly charged $134 by Smalls. Money I never agreed to pay. I emailed them, and they said they usually send emails about a “subscription” and that it was probably in my spam folder. I requested a refund, but they said the food had already been sent and they could not provide one per their "return policy". The order appears as being processed on the website and not shipped yet. My bank is now involved. Please be careful when buying from companies like this.

I have never dealt with such dishonest people in my life. I did a sample to see if my cats would like the food and they did not. I was notified on 1/26/2026 that I was getting another order which I did not do a subscription. I notified them on the 26th and continued communicating with them on the 27th of Jan. They told me they sent me an email which I did not receive and they billed me on the 23rd of Jan for a subscription that I did not order or want. The bad thing is I ordered the Sample and received it. This time they sent me a larger order that I was not aware of for a total of $138 +. They would like work with me and told me to do what I had to since they would not refund or work with me. The last step I have taken today, besides sending this review was to ask for an email showing that I have asked them to cancel whatever subscription they put me on. Nothing yet.

I have subscribed to Smalls cat food on and off for the last five years. I recently received an order of food that contained fish which was likely bad because my cat wouldn’t touch it. After a lot of back and forth with customer service I received a refund, but my next order that wasn’t even shipped yet couldn’t be cancelled, AND that order would NOT be eligible for return or refund. AGAIN, wasted food and horrendous customer care. I cancelled my subscription.

Like many people my Maine Coons are family members and I'm always seeking out healthy food without paying an exorbitant amount of money. I came across smalls and it seemed great. I placed an order for a sample pack using their first timers discount code and after confirming the one time purchase I received a notification that a login account was created and I would be charged 138$ every 3 weeks. I tried to log into my account to cancel this but was not given login information or instructions on accessing my account. I became frustrated at this point because I didn't agree to any of that. I reached out to smalls and in a day or two they sent me the login information and said to hit forgot password to make one. 16 days later not 3 weeks later I received a charge for 138$. Mind you I never signed up for a subscription nor agreed to allow them to decide what I was going to buy each month. All of this is super scammy. You don't just take people's credit cards and say you're going to go shopping for them and make it a process to stop you from doing so. I ended up reporting the card stolen and had to change all of my autopayments for everything so I will never be using Smalls again.

Terrible customer service!! Beware this is a subscription service only and they make it impossible to cancel the subscription. I emailed them before the deadline to cancel, well before the product was shipped, and they told me that I was somehow talking to a robot, even though I emailed their customer service address from their website! I also tried to cancel on their website and conveniently could not lift in, despite several attempts. Plus, I can’t get my cat to eat the food. This was a royal waste of time and money!!!
