Thank you for taking the time to write about your experience! I'm so sorry to hear that Smalls was not a hit in your household. What we typically think of as a picky cat can sometimes be better addressed as a creature of habit. Over time, cats will get used to what they're eating, and will even prefer foods with high carb content and fillers - just like a human might prefer to have fast food rather than a home-cooked meal. Because of their acclimation to their current food, transitioning to Smalls can sometimes take up to 4 weeks! While that might sound like a long time to try something new, we hope that the benefits of Smalls will serve them for the rest of their lives. Let us know if you need additional transition tips. We're also working to introduce some new textures/recipes in the not-too-distant future! Perhaps they will be more enticing to your kitties!

We completely understand - cats' appetites can change suddenly or unexpectedly, sometimes with the weather or their moods, and it could be a sign that they want to change things up, or have a little variety in their textures. Oftentimes a topper or enticer will turn a skeptical kitty around - things like tuna water, sodium-free chicken broth, bonito flakes, or any usual brand of treat that you already feed them make good enticers to help them remember what they loved about Smalls. We also hope to introduce a few new recipes in the not-too-distant future!
