I cannot say enough nice things about this food. I've been using it for a few months now. We have 3 cats: an overweight 10 year old boy, a healthy weight 6 year old boy, and a 5 month old kitten. Smalls has helped with managing my overweight boy's eating. He's now lost 1.5lbs. Our healthy adult boy has never liked wet foods (even churu treats) but loves smalls. Honestly, this was the biggest shock and I'm so glad I can take him off a fully dry diet. The kitten had diarrhea when we got him. After 3 fecal exams, allergy testing, probiotic use and so many different brands tried, I put him on smalls. His diarrhea was gone in 2 days. We took him off, because the vet really wanted him on a kitten specific wet food. However, a couple days after switching to Royal Canin the diarrhea returned and 3 weeks later the vet said he's slightly underweight now. He's now back on smalls with solid poops and getting back to a healthy weight. The number of protein varieties is nice and the ability to individually select what you want with each delivery is great. No more buying a variety pack and getting stuck with something your cats won't eat. I really like the corn based packaging that's biodegradable, too! I can also say that their support, the "cat concierge," has been responsive and helpful. My biggest critique would have to do with the packaging. I really wish it was resealable or at least had the ability to cover (like the silicone canned food caps). Overall, I recommend this brand to anyone who has a picky eater, a cat who needs to lose weight, and/or a cat with a sensitive stomach!

My cats LOVE Smalls! Their coats are so much shinier and healthier looking, my older cat’s dental issues completely went away, they both have a healthier gut, and I just feel so much better knowing they’re eating better than I am haha. The ONLY thing I do not like about Smalls, is the fact that the food itself is packaged in non recyclable plastic films. I order a box of 28 food packages every 2 weeks, which is 56 per month, which is then 672 non recyclable plastic film items from one year. I do appreciate that the packaging insulation is biodegradable, and that everything else can be recycled. I just hate the thought of microplastics being in my cats’ food because of the packaging, and knowing the plastic will be going straight to the landfill. I would be much happier with this company if they promoted sustainability as well as healthy cat food.

love this company! my cats love the treats that are sent in each box and will not go to bed until they have their nightly catnip treats. their poop smells so much better since switching to SMALLS!

My 4, 1 year old cats are obsessed with Smalls. I’ve stopped on 2 occasions for budgeting reasons and my cats are finicky to the point where I had to reinstate my subscription. They have to have Smalls as part of their meals. I do wish you had an app, it would make it more convenient.

Almost everything about this brand and food is amazing. My cat loves it, the food is exceptional quality, the process is consistent, and customer experience is super smooth. The only two things I would change is that I would like to get a text when it’s time to update my order, (i like to change up my selections every month) and I’d like packaging that better supports portioning within the current packet size.

Smalls provides excellent quality and nutrition for cats, no doubt. After trying for several months, my furbabies never got past the initial curiosity and I’ve had to dispose of more than half down the toilet. That is money and product and effort wasted; sadly I’ll be cancelling today.

We tried Smalls for our picky older cat who was going through an appetite change. She LOVED it (for about 5 months and now we're onto something new lol) and I felt great about giving it to her! It kept her way more satisfied for longer than say, canned food. Our only complaint was how stinky it was if she didn't eat it all and it got thrown in the trash. It's all human-grade food of course, but stunk way more than like our dinner would if we threw away what we didn't eat. Overall, I would recommend this food to fellow kitty owners!
